Current mood:PROUD!
Well everyone I just want to get on line here and post a little something to exclaim what a year we have had. This has been a rough economy to say the least but we here at Jackson have always looked at that right in the eye and yelled F*CK YOU! We always rise above! Once again we have. I traveled the world visiting the customers and stores direct and was able to let so many of you know how much we love each and every one of you Bloodline members. We are only growing stronger and more ferocious every day. Thank you everyone for being a part of the Bloodline and staying true to Jackson Guitars. January is the recognized 30th anniversary of Jackson guitars (30 years since Randy went to Grover and had him build a guitar that would change the world) and we cant wait to show everyone we dont slow down or bow to anyone! You are the reason we do what we do and why we stay true to our history as well as develop new andn better playing products for the future. If you will be at NAMM come hang with us. If not, then be ready for all the tomorrows of Jackson to come! Horns UP from Jackson!

Well 1st day of Finland at F-Musiikki Pro Center in Helsinki Finland. What a great place to be. Fuckn cold here but beautiful!. The store is crazy big and all the people who came out were just killer. I love being a part of a company who can really get in touch with their customers and their artists like I have the grateful opportunity to do. Got to hang with my boys in Domination Black. had a pint and 2 shots. Great dudes to say the least.

Jackson is proud to present the Jackson Bloodline Tour at local music stores throughout the Scandinavia and Germany featuring Jackson's own Chris Cannella.

Cannella is not only Jackson's Product Manager and Artist Relations representative, but also a formidably-talented guitarist, songwriter and vocalist who wields his many Jackson guitar models in his North American metal band Autumn's End.

Despite his intense and intimidating appearance, Cannella is a soft-spoken walking encyclopedia of metal in general and Jackson in particular. Musicians and music fans are invited to join Chris as he demonstrates and explains his lightening-fast guitar techniques, not by using his own gear, but rather whatever's in the store at the time. Additionally, he'll provide tone tricks and overall guitar setup tips.

Cannella will also explain Jackson's dark yet colorful past; explain the brand's unique Bloodline and genre-defining, groundbreaking firsts—such as the advent of the original Rhoads guitar, insane custom paint jobs, and compound radius fingerboards. He'll show how Jackson can find a home in other musical genres, share a little music theory, and discuss soloing styles and speed. Through all of it, he'll open the floor to answer any questions you might have regarding all-things Jackson.
It's cool, comprehensive and captivating. It's Jackson, connecting with musicians at Jackson retailers nationwide.

See you there!!

Okay needless to say I was a bit reluctant to be bringing the bloodline Metal Masters classes to Utah... Ugh...
Well I stand corrected. this was the biggest night of the bloodline period! Bill Acton (Fender DSM) put this night on with class. We had a total of 400 people in the store and I spent half of my night giving one on one classes and lessons to some of the coolest people I have ever met! Great time with pure metal heart in every one of these hungry Metal Hearts. Proud to be a part of this. I am always shocked and vitalized at every one of these. Check out the pics! Also a cool little hi light.... I accidentally dropped the F bomb during the clinic and in pure Utah form the cops showed u to see why this tattooed hood (me) was speaking on stage outdoors in fornt of a music store. No hassles just worries but all ended up great!
Horns up to big time music in Orem Utah and Bill Acton!

Well let me tell everyone I am so sorry i have not gotten back to our MySpace emails. I just got back into town and just had 2 weeks of international business and i am slammed. I will say this, I would rather be insane busy than bored. And being this busy in this economy is a great thing for a brand. Thanks to everyone who is a part of the Bloodline! We are still the reigning champs!
Well i just spent an evening with Def Leppard in Vegas as they played to the sold out show at the MGM Grand arenea. Even if these guys are not your cup of tea you have to respect the fact that they still sell out arenas and always play on top of their game. Everyone in the band as well as their crew are just amazing guys and flew the Jackson Flag loud and Proud! Great time and great band.
Now if anyone out there has some time to witness true American Metal at its best, get your asses out to see Obituary with Warbringer and Goatwhore. Fucking perfect night of brutal Metal!
_so much to say and so little time to write about it all

Okay let me start this off with a little background. I got to the fest at 12:30 and it was 108 degrees. By 3pm it was 115 degrees. No shade anywhere! The venue screwed up the permits and all the bands from the jager and Hot Topic Stages had to share one stage. With all of that I can honestly say I have never seen that much comraderie between bands to help each other have a killer show. JJust proud to be a part of this scene! Whitechappel had a very tight set and really got the crowd moving! Those EVHS sounded killer with the Jackson. Great guys. Wish I had more time to spend with them. Al and Brent from Job For a Cowboy are already 2 of my favorite guys to hang with and even after an exhausting evening before they got up and ripped the shit up!!! Now i get to hang with allot of bands and even in one myself but I have to say EVERYONE in Trivium and their crew could very well be the coolest guys to hang with ever. 100% pro. Proud to have you with us Corey! He got his new Custom Shop 7 string King V that day and he tore it up that very night! Even after blowing up his head on stage they stilled pulled it off and the fans appreciated it!
Now we all know only Alex Webster is a part of the FMIC family from Cannibal Corpse but Lets say it how it is. Those guys Fuckin rule and they were there for everyone helping out with their crew in anyway to make the show smooth and killer for all bands! Horns up to Corpe!
After working with all the bands that day and seeing killer sets from everyone on the second stage as well as Bullet, manson and Slayer i finnaly got to leave at 11:30PM burnt out but proud to be there!

Just want to send a little story about my last day in Indiana

First I get up and my shuttle never shows
The maintainance guy from the hotel  drives me to the airport in his work truck
get to the airport on time only to be questioned by Authority as to why I looked nervous (I was almost late for my plane and its 85pct humidity!)
They scanned all of my belongings separately.
Get on the twin engine plane to get me to Detroit
The Plane has a malfunction on the runway and we stop until it is fixed (1 Hour) no one can leave the plane and all the power is shut off
Plane takes off and get me to my layover in Detroit with 90 seconds to make my next flight
I make the flight but to find someone is sitting in my seat and cannot move because a woman who was morbidly obese is taking up 2.5 seats and no one can sit by her
Gay stuardess dude get me upgraded to First Class at no charge (hell yeah!!!!)
I am excited to be the first one off the plane but to no avail
Planes gets detoured back to my home in AZ because of storms and turbulence.
Plane finally lands but we cannot leave because one asshole from the first flight passed out because the turbulence and we have to wait for medics to get him off the plane.
I then get off the plane and am so excited to be home!

I would do it all over again every time to be able to have as much success as we did on the Bloodline tour! Everyone kicked ass!

Hello yall! Chris Cannella here. Just writing a litle about the midwest. Well let me tell you I started out in Indianapolis with R&R music. What a fantastic class and even better store family! Thank you to everyone for making that day even better than I had hoped for. The next morning i headed out to Muncie IN for World Music Supply. This was bizarre. The staff was great and the store is killer. It was just 200 degrees wth 190 prct humidity and the clinic was outside. I then thoght wow this is gonna suck! But behold! I stand corrected. The people were great and even during the heat, hung out with me for ever and got to tak metal, Jackson, and Life for hours. Horns up to Zack for coming all the way out there!
Today was day one of Sweetwater Gear fest. I will update this one tomorrow He he...
