Apologies for the huge gap in updates, but we are pleased to confirm Jaime's doing great and now fully recovered from pneumonia! He's keeping himself busy playing guitar and writing/recording some acoustic based material.

Jaime was recently interviewed by MOJO magazine as part of a forthcoming Britpop special style edition. ...more news on this soon.

It is with great regret that Marion have had to withdraw from their planned shows at the Academy in October and the Metro in November.

Jaime was admitted to hospital a few days ago with severe chest pains and breathing difficulties. His condition has now stabilised and he is receiving the very best treatment possible.
During the weekend Jaime was diagnosed with Pneumonia and is likely to remain in hospital for several weeks with an expected 2 to 3 months full recovery period.

Being forced to make this decision at such short notice is exremely disapointing. Rehearsals were going well and we were looking forward to taking to the stage once again, but i'm sure you'll agree, Jaime's health and well-being is of the up-most priority.

Unfortunately, at this time i cannot confirm the shows will be rescheduled. (People who bought tickets through Townsend Records should expect an e-mail to confirm this statement).

On behalf of the band and myself, we are very sorry to those of you that had made arrangements to attend the shows from near and far. Thank you for your tireless faith and support, and we hope to announce further news in the near future.

Still fresh from last month's release of the 4 demo's, we thought we would get hot on the heels of it and release yet another little gem from the archives of last years shows. We bring to you two tracks this time. A new one to many who couldn't be at the shows is a song called " Can't stop now " This is a great song laden with heaps of intricate guitar playing and wistfull, beautiful melodies of Jaime's voice. Whilst this one has all the Marion swagger and still carries the vibe that they bring, it also has a " Brakes on " Sort of feel to it! A sure pound for pound future Marion classic.

And the next one is " Crystal Blue " Many of you have already heard this track but not many have heard it played with a full band, unless you were at any of the shows last year. This song just speaks for itself and has found it's way into the live set alongside the most well known of songs, it's already a sure fire classic, but with a full band playing it just gives it a different lift and a new angle whilst not losing that Mammoth chorus and wonderful tone.

These 2 songs really are top shelf Marion at their best!!
