Concerning Re releases of Wipers Is This Real,
and The rAT'S Intermittent Signals.


Hey everyone,

I'm sure most of you have heard about The Wipers re issues and most recently The Rats .
I played on these albums, and the most AGGRAVATTING thing is to be giving away to people who don't appriciate the time and HEART and Soul I put in to making albums ,bands and such happen.

I've recoded MANY MANY Albums in the last 30 some years and It took 9 (nine) years later to get 399.00 dollars for recording and sales of Is this Real.1979n
 Hmmmmmm!!!!! since that day in 1988 I have'nt recieved a dime or has Bassist Dave Koupal.We all know that album has been distributed all over the world, I'm pretty sure Mr Greg Sage does'nt even know.
Well My point is Being recognized as the member/drummer of this Great band and record that changed and inspired so many other bands to later fallow gets a bit depressing after I've been playing and recording for the last 30+ years and With all the re issues comming out (most of wich I am on).
TRUTH BE IT SO. .... A F---'n royalty check once a month would be nice ,HA! even if it was a 50 cent check to hang on my wall.

Fred and Toody Cole of Dead Moon fame I played and sang on the Rats Album Intermittent signals This one is being re issued as well.
Wonder if I'll see a DIME off that..................

Well there's my rant, It is nice to be recognized for being a PIONEER and an older one who has'nt QUIT or given up. Playing in 7 SEVEN or more bands at 52 years still does'nt pay rent or the cab fare it usualy costs me to get to a gig.

DRUMS ARE NOT CHEAP ... But it seems songwritters hmmmm do I dare say it?.....I mean Honestly they did'nt write the drum parts or the drum solos.......
