Ok...so it's been a while since i've said anything to you guys but i'm back!!
Back from touring with the Jaxx & i'm now putting my head down to work hard on my own stuff & get it out there ASAP!!
So,my first gig back happens to be supporting Loose Ends @ Jazz Cafe,Oct 4!!!
*wht?!?*
Yeah,that's rite...the legendary Loose Ends are playing Jazz Cafe & lil' ol' me is supporting with a 20/30 set!
So as i rehearse my peeps i ask you guys to spread the word & reach to the dance for what is gonna be a memorable night!!
Tell your mates to come to,i wanna nuff people!!!
More gigs are to come in the coming wks & months,i promise to do a better job in keeping you guys in the loop!!
Thank you again to people who have been asking after me & are paicently waiting for my E.P to drop...
Due to unforseen circumstances with labels,a pending agreement with a new label is underway & if it kills me i PROMISE to get it out before the year is done!!
I didn't do all this work & put up a sell out gig @ cargo for nothing!!!
Your support means so much too me to wanna disappoint any of you.

I just thought i'd take the time to thank everybody that made my launch gig at Cargo Mon 18 June.
It was AMAZING to see so many people supporting!
It kinda felt a lil' like a wedding cause there were so many people i knew there!!
I'm sorry for not getting to speak to everyone hence why i'm posting this now!!
Myself & Ben put alot of hard work into this project & getting a positive response only feeds us more into at least giving this music lark a good go!!
Amazingly i have 2 more shows coming up which are festivals & once i come to you guys asking for support...

1) Anti-Racism RISE festival @ Finsbury Park,London - 15 July
2) Burgess Park festival @ Burgess Park,South London - 4th Aug

Both are free gigs so pls spread the word & tell everyone you know...

Well....
I thought i just mention that "If U Want It" has a video...YEIPEEEE!!!!!
I have been giving this single an oppotunity to have a good chance of success & the experience of shooting a video for this song has been nothing short of amazing!
Directors Ed Royal & Greg Gagol contacted Film38 & in the space of 5 wks & £10'000 later a master plan was created on Weds 6th & Thurs 7th June @ Brockwell Park, Brixton the song came to life visually!
So much thanks to Liz & all @ Film38 for their hard word & favours made to make this happen... Xxx
1st public screening of the video will be on the launch night @ Cargo.

Wheels are in motions with launching "Vula" the artist!
There are a couple of small gigs booked in just before the big one @ Cargo,then more gigs after I'm back from the road with the Jaxx.
Last minute gig I'm doing is this monday @ The Fly in Central London.

City Urban Showcase introduces fresh up & coming talent from london & the rest of UK.
Hosting on the nighr is the 1 & only Ras Kwase & included in the bill are N-Dubz,Ny & Shameless.

Hey People,
I thought i'd just holla at peeps about what i've been up to lately...
Heard about a retreat for writers that my publisher mentioned to me bout 2/3 months ago & at first thought nothing of it much,i'm not really big on retreats anyway!!
(*This one was apparently different & special though!)
This one is organised/created/fronted by a small publishing company called "Phased Differently" run by what i know now to be some amazing singer/songwriters & all round greatly fantastic people!
Held in Sweden every 3 to 4 months,about 22 lucky writers & producers from around the world come together to write the hits of tomorrow.
I have been lucky enough to be a part of it this time & boy,I've benn blown away by the talent that some people posess!!
And i can't believe just how far i can be pushed to crreat something i've never done before,i mean the songs i'm writing are not the norm for me but i am so excited my grateful to have had this oppotunatiny to do this.
In the past 3 days i've written 6 songs and today,as i write this,i've just finished writng a country tune! (Me? Country?! Bloody Hell!!)
Who knows whts gonna happen to these songs,let's see...
The plus side has been making some amazing friends who i have learnt from greatly...
Hopefully you will be washing your dishes or driving to work with one of these songs in the background!... (You might even buy it!)
I was worried bout taking time out of me finishing my E.P to do this trip but it's the best decision i've made in ages!!
By the way,the E.P is done in terms of writing it...all that's left is mixing & release!!
I wanna say "Thank You" so much to the Phased Differently team & especially Hiten for choosing me to be a part of something wonderful,i hope i can do it again very soon!

Thank you for taking the time to read this,i know to some it's nothing much but this wk has made such an impact on me that i think it will change how i write for others as well as for myself...
