What's up, mofo's? Yeah, I know I'm a bad friend and all with the lack of myspacing lately, but things have been hectic in the real world, as I'm sure it's the same for all y'all!

Anyways, I'm just popping on to let you know I recently got the opportunity to direct a music video for Dublin underground legends, Estel. The track, 'Mark', is off their new EP, 'Untitled', which is a true collabortation with two music Gods, Mike Watt and Steve Mackay.

The guys were good enough to give me free reign over what we shot, and I'm hoping we did them proud with what I came up with. The video is in it's final stages of post production, but here are just a few stills taken on the day by my trusty sidekick, Daire Lynch.

Just some quick thanks to those who made the video possible. Mr Colin Farrell, Mr Dave Philips, and Mr Kevin Ayres, for their fantastic acting skills, and for letting me put em through the wringer. Mr Niall O'Byrne, Director of Photography, for his stirling job behind the camera. Mr Daire Lynch, f/x maestro, set dressing and all round dogs body . Mr Andrew Bushe, for  helping us on the day, and the rest of Estel for allowing me the chance to do this. Thanks all round, scum fucks!

Well, it’s been a long time since I put an update up, so now is a good a time as any I guess...Life has been stuck in a drunken limbo for the last few months, but since myself and Daire’s trip to Donegal recently, things seem to be coming together sweet enough. I got the feature length script in the bag pretty much, so I am happy with that. It ain’t exactly gonna change the world, but fuck it, I never claimed to be anything more than a two bit hack;-)

Anyway, Some other brief news for anyone who has an interest, I will be shooting a new short film on March 29th, titled LARVA. It’s a 4 minute horror film that I have written and will direct, with Niall O’Byrne handling Director of Photography duties. The cast should be sorted by the weekend, and special effects work will also begin shortly...hopefully myself and the crew can stay off the booze long enough to get it pulled together.

What more can I say? Ya got any questions, hit me up!

*** Ok, we wrapped up filming on Monday morning around 3AM, after a 14 hour shoot!! It was fucking gruelling for everyone involved, but it still managed to be one of the funniest film shoots ever. Everything worked the way we wanted it to, which is unusual experience for me. Fair play to Daire, Colly and Niall for all the hardwork, and I hope you guys ain’t got the serious dose of miner’s lung that I seem to have right now! Goddamned Asbestos...

Editing has started, and so far, so good.

Right, here’s some photo’s taken during the shoot for your pleasure....

The crew hard at work

Directing naked men is easier when they have a blur over their tallywhackers:-)

Colin Farrell, method actor all the way!

Colly’s soul evacuates his body...

So feel free to knock by and check it out if you get a chance, but it will probably only appeal to die hard horror fans though. All thoughts and views are appreciated. Hope to see yis over there sometime.

Hey folks, its been awhile since I have put up a blog of any worth, but here we go...

Ok, I have added the music video that I made for Calico Jak to my profile directly below the blogs. Myspace is acting the bastard and wont let me put it in this blog. Anyways, we shot it last summer and had alot of fun doing so. It is obviously inspired by a couple of my favorite horror flicks, see if ya can spot which ones..Any feed back or comments are welcome, just be warned, the quality aint the best on these poxy load up sites (the dark bits are pretty fucking dark), so if anyone knows a better one for uploads, let me know.. and of course, add Calico Jak to your friends if ya dig his shit.

For any of you guys living in Dublin, the video can also be found on the current issue of Pro Bono Publico, which is in Tower Records, Gruel, and other places I can't remember right now...it also features an article written by myself ,so pick up a copy if ya can!

Finally, me and Daires band, Mongoloid, have a new tune up (its on my profile at the mo), check it out if ya have a few minutes. You may hate it, but fuck it, we dont give two shits anyway.

Right, thats the end of this shameless self plug,  leave abuse below. And here, this is the link to it for those to lazy to go back to my profile..

Current mood:  scared

Last nite i was sitting at my computer in the hallway upstairs watching a dvd with headphones on. All my family had fucked off to bed, and theres me sitting there enjoying Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind when suddenly i felt a hand grip my shoulder! I turned around about to start screaming the most girly scream, but there was no one there. the hallway was dark and empty.

i quickly packed my shit up and hightailed it into my bed with the sheets pulled up high. what would have happened if i had turned around and there was some kind of fucked up looking ghost/thing standing there, its dead eyes trying to look into my soul? I know i watch/read a ridiculous amount of horror/supernatural films/books, but i reckon in reality if confronted by some freaky shit like that i would piss my pants and die.

Recently i've been seeing fucked up things in my room. Most recently have been some kind of freaky baby crawling across by brothers bed, and some fucking woman crawling across my bedroom floor. I'm not asleep when seeing these things, and have had fits of screaming both times (my poor brother).

all this is not making me like the comfort of my own bed anymore...
