I can't wait to finally be done with MC and move on to bigger better things (like getting my nursing license... ) My school is so dumb now. First off, I'm starting to go crazy hanging out in the student lounge the 2 hours between my classes. This is because there are a bunch of new people in there that are so fucking obnoxiously loud and I think they are purposly annoying just to get attention. It's like, hello, learn to use inside voices, you don't have to scream to people during conversations. Plus theres a bunch of girls in tehre that think it's hilarious to go and sit on random guy's laps and hit on everyone and make out with eachother. It's not cool, its immature and people need to grow up. I sit there and try and read my book or whaetver and play cards with friends but after awhile some of the people in there give me such a bad headache I've been lately just driving home to make lunch .

I'd rather waste my gas and time driving to Gaithersburg and back for lunch then spend it in the student lounge anymore.

Secondly, my school decided to really become "13th grade" by having a 'spirit week' which is the lamest idea i've ever heard of. We don't even have a football team to cheer for..

For this spirit week I believe it's a lot like normal high school spirit week.. people are supposed to dress up everyday.. jersey day, cartoon day, school colors day (whatever those are..), culture day, twin day...

To top it all off.. theres a "Homecoming Ball" which i find hilarious because honestly, I don't know anyone in their right mind who would even consider going to it. My school really does want to be high school all over again, cept, at an even lamer level. This is supposed to be college.

I can't wait to transfer to UMD school of nursing.. get my Bachlers.. eventually get my masters.. one day I hope to be the head nurse at an ER or ICU.. but defintly gonna leave maryland when I'm done wth all the schooling.. maybe become a volunteer Paramedic down the road as well (though I havta get through my really long EMT class first...)

I'm just sick of MC, all  the stupid drama people start up in the lounge, all the gossip, all the stupid teachers who put 2 tests in teh same class on the same day.. and I'm even getting sick of the scholars people... who are just as fake as everyone else.

o and i currently volunteer with WVRS every sunday night :) i love it there  tho some of the firefighter fellows are a bit crazy heh

hopefully my gpa is above 3.2... tho i did take 6 honors classes last year at 3 credits a piece on top of my other classes...

o and .. the past couple weeks i had been so stressed out bout school and shit and kept taking it out on my boyfriend David =/ we were on the verge of breakup a couple times ... :(

but we had a long talk.. things are improving and we both seem a lot happier right now together..

i really dont want to lose him  hes changed me into a better person.... well maybe not better but hes definitly opened my eyes to the world..

we balance eachother pretty well and i enjoy waking up next to him almost every morning heh

hmm o and i work partt time at macaroni grill... its an alright job... not exactly in the health field like i plan to be in.. but it gives me $$ for gas so i can get to school

lately ive been looking at nursing schools and stuff.. im really considering the university of maryland school of nursing in baltimore.. its ranked in the top 10 on US News for nursing schools so thats good..

maybe i'll be even crazier and apply to the top nursing schools like university of washington sc hool of nursing as well..

tho i still have another year of my scholarship left at mc before i erally have this decision to make.. and being that only 25 kids get into MC Scholars every year and its actually harder to get into then UMD College Park... i was hand selected because im special and hopefully other schools will see that as well...

all i know is with as many honors classes im taking, my capstone stuff, working at a volunteer rescue squad, studying at Cambridge on the the top universites in the world, i used to volunteer at a nursing home as well, etc etc.. will really look great on my resume so im excited.. and ive definitly been working my ass off to get as far as i have so im proud of myself (all the years of GESP, NHS, managing a restaurant, etc, really paid off since i got into scholars)

i feel like whatever i decide to do with my life.. i will make it far....... ive worked so hard up to this point that i feel like i HAVE to succeed

life is actually going pretty good right now :)

yea i haven't really been on myspace lately.. i've been busy having a life.... now that spring break is over my life is insane again... still doing the whole full time schooling.. and part time at macgrill 3 days a week.. and the rescue squad 60+ hours a month plus extra training.. and in what little free time i have..  i spend with my wonderful boyfriend david..hes insane...... life is going pretty good.. minus the fact that im really starting to hate the US and wnat to get the fuck out of this country.... move to Canada or Australia eventually... tho im still looking forward to my trip to Europe this summer... and i think i might have figured out the career i'm gonna go into.. psychiatric nursing.. fun...... tho being a career paramedic is something i'd be interested in too since i love the rescue squad and all its insanity......

the rescue squad training is def going really well... i just have to take a written test and get CPR certified this coming sunday nad i'll be able to ride the ambulance finally....

all the people there are great..... i love the sunday night crew... specially since there are 2 other people in training so i dont feel completely alone

i still havta get used to sirens going off at 2 am tho... thats def a drastic change for me haha

even tho before adding 60+ hours a week at the squad into my schedule my life was busy..... i know doing this is going to be worth it in the long run and im already proud of myself for taking the first step towards becoming a paramedic :)

plus someone told me i can transfer to the UMBC squad in a couple years and they will pay for my tuition.. so thats cool.. even more free schooling for me..... not that thats any of my motivation for joining the squad in the first place...

cus the time at WVRS working... is going to outweigh all the benefits i get (tax breaks, free medical training, etc) but i know im going to feel very proud for doing what im gonna be doing... saving people's lives

i know if it wasnt for the first people on the scene of my brother's car accident.. he wouldnt be here anymore..... and i want to be one of the people who are first on the scene saving people and changing their lives..

yay... im already bragging and proud and i havent even ridden the ambulance yet.. haha .. but unless i fail my tests(which i shouldnt) i should start riding this coming sunday nad im sooo excited

*so yea left at 1030am monday and took a chem test and failed... owell

the weekend was still awesome....... im finally getting out of my sheltered baby lifestyle and becoming more adventurous and meeting a ton of new ppl everywhere i go so its awesome

life is going really well right now for a change.... yea i have problems.. but overall its GOOD.. im not depressed, im not dating any losers  and im away from my parents...... hopefully things will start really going my way for once and i'll be ehappy :)

tho for now on i will no longer have sunday nights free at all.. since i'll be there 6pm-6am... plus every third saturday is also shot since ill be there noon-8am sunday.. yea crazy but funn
