Hi Everyone!

We haven't posted a new blog for quite some time, so I thought this should be a lenghthy one.
First of all, we're about to print our debut release "The Aftermath". It was recorded in various studios across Israel, and mastered by no other than Mika Jusilla of Finnvox, the man behind legendary mastering works such as Children Of Bodom, Nightwish and Stratovarius.

The EP will consist of 7 tracks and 5 original songs, two of which you can already hear on our myspace player. Lyrics are attached as well.

This is also the time to unveil the artwork, done by french artist Pierre-Alain Durand, aka 3mmi Design. We hope you like it!

You are welcome to our player, and comment us about the songs, artwork and what not!

We will post new showdates soon, and also the printing/purchasing options available to order "The Aftermath".

Stay M!!!

Hi Guys!!!
Again Alex from the AcropoHQ here, so I'm gonna tell you a bit about what we've been up to for the last few months.
First of all, let me say that WE'RE FINALLY FINISHED WITH THE RECORDINGS! The tracks are currently being mixed and edited by mastermind Daniel Varfolomeyev (and myself, also an important mind, hehe!), We've got some work left to do, but overall, we're pretty much overwhelmed by the monster we created! Artwork is in process, and soon you shall have a taste of it, a new look&feel will follow our myspace page, and eventually an official band website. Be afraid!

We played the annual Jerusalem Metal Fest 4 2 days ago, and let me tell you it was nothing but AWESOME! a big thank you goes to the Submarine personell,Yechi, and all you sick Jerusalem fucks who came to see us! You guys fucking rocked!!! Also kudos to bands who preformed and smashed the hell out of that club - Schwortzechaye, Prey For Nothing, Arallu, Birth, Kobalt and Oversin.

Now for some real frosty-fresh and wintry news!
If everything goes as planned, Acropolis will master it's debut release in Finnvox studios, Finland (Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, Children of Bodom...) by no other than genious Mika Jusilla himself!

Keep visiting for huge updates, we will post some soon!

Merrry X-mas and Happy (past) Hannukah.

Hi guys, Alex here, keyboardist of the wonderful team that lives by the name of Acropolis.

I'd like to welcome our newest friends, we thank you deeply for the support and for all the words. I thought I should let you all know what's been going on for the past months...

We preformed our debut full show on May 3rd, sharing the stage with our dear friends and prog metallers Systema Teleion. They're on our top so don't forget to give them a listen and tell them what you think!
The show went awesome, we had tons of fun, and our set was blastin'
you can visit here to view the pics from that wonderful night. Also we can tell you now that we are booked for another couple of shows, so all you Israelis expect a huge power metal bombshell coming your way soon!!

Now for some updates from the studio...

We're more than half way through the EP recording process!
This week, Daniel skillfully managed to lay down rhythm guitars for 5 tracks and the last song is half way through! Let me tell you that it sounds simply amazing, even at the raw track stages!

I myself managed to lay down almost all Keyboard parts, only selected few are left, which are being processed in my mind as I write these lines. These past two weeks were simply crazy, Dan and me changing duties between playing our instruments and sitting at the console, I believe overall we managed to grind about 20 guitar picks to thin dust, and burn a few sets of guitar strings!
In the meantime things are working according to plans, and by this pace, Elad will begin to record bass parts by next week!
We will keep you updated as well continue our progress slowly but surely.

In the meantime,
Have a great holiday (Israelis) and a hell of a week!

Did you managed to read it through this part?? Then let us hear your voice! Speak up and speak loud because we're listening :)

Cheers,
Alex and the Acropolis crew.

After quite some recent delay we're happy to annonce that we have started recording the keyboards & render the final arrangements to the songs last week, Yestersay we have started tracking the first guitar tracks, and the progress of both will be parallel.

In addition to that, we haven't wasted a minute of the time from the drum tracking, and managed to finish all the necessary drum editing for the final mix, and the results are exciting!

More updates and Videos soon...

Acropolis.
