We just started. This is wild. We all have so many emotions because we're all on this wave for the ride.
Part one:
Our friends helped us get stuff ready.
Geckle the wonderful tattoo artist (myspace.com/119929057)

Jess (myspace.com/graphicrecords) and Jeremy (myspace.com/1085746)

We have this tourvan. It took us three stressful days to get it all packed up. We even had a friend build a divider in it, so that we could keep the equipment under neath and have a sofa up top if we needed ever use it. (You never know)
Her name: (Vanna White)

Last night was our first show. We were greeting by a hundred and more fans on the first floor of green gabes hotel. It was cozy. We were set to play at around 8 and were the only act for the night. It was a good start to a travling tour. The owner told us that they've never had the hotel packed with that many people. Everyone had so much fun that dragging everyone away and packing up the van was quite a task that night.

some friends that came out to see us:

We played croc rock the night after in Allentown, PA- and since Bret Michaels was the day before us, and the Roots were the day after, the turnout completely sucked. There was also a big music festival going on nearby (when does ANYTHING ever go on in allentown except the day we are scheduled to play at this amazing venue??) It was an honor to play on the stage and also to play for the fans that came out to see us.

Will jamming at some odd hour of the night

New York was a breath of fresh air. We played at Bar 4 in Brooklyn. A friend of ours, Bess Rogers (myspace.com/bessrogers) booked the show, and hosts it monthly. It was a cozy cafe feel bar with wild art on the walls and everyone in the bar was genuinely interested in the original music vibe which felt almost rare for the big city. Toby Goodshenk from the Moldy Peaches played after, and was amazing. I was interested in every performer and left with so much good energy.

Chris, Will and Bess Rogers
Bess and Chris just got back from a tour with Dave Matthews Band with her band that she's playing in, Ingrid Michaelson. Right now she's playing guitar for Ingrid Michaelson and Chris plays bass.. We had fun that night and we're bummed we had to leave.
We're getting a few last minute tweaks and then we are off to the rest of the long journey. First to Pittsburgh to promote for a show at Mr. Smalls, and then heading out west to the lush lands of Georgia, and the plains of Tennessee and we've got a WHOLE lot more to experience and tell.
Keep up with the blogs- every week we'll let you know just what we're up to and you'll be highly inspired and interested, I promise. (We've got LOTS of interesting things going on.. )
Oh and we have some sweet video blogs coming too!
Peace and Cheers,
Rachel Leah
