soooo ....yeah i pretty much laid my feelings for this lovely ladies "talent" out in the last installment, then i got to thinking , you know its not COMPLETELY her fault...i mean someone must be BUYING this crap in order for ol Fergie Ferg to keep the lights on ..so who ..is that exactly?, what demographic is clamoring to purchase the next Fergie single "Taco Bell Has A Drivethrough" ?...(cause you KNOW its coming ) ..lol..

so in an effort to somehow figure out WHAT made this song a hit , i *gasp* downloaded it , and well ..long story short .made myself listen to it ...over and over and over ...hoping that somehow it would i dunno ...grow on me ..

well that didnt work ..but as i was reading through the *ahem* "lyrics" ..it became clear that there is absolutely NO forethought involved in it WHAT. SO . EVER. other than simply trying to find a word that rhymes with "Versace" ..it tells no story ...it doesnt make you glance back on a time in your life that relates to the "story" she is trying to tell ..

so i thought .."What if i sang this song ...with these horrific lines in it ...only I did it in the most earnest way possible ?...i mean REALLY try to feel what she was sayin and convey it in the song ?" ..

well lol...no such luck ..but i DID record a version.....

I need new freaking shoes!...these ones are toast...they don't smell (much) but still ..the laces are torn , altho i hear you can get new ones(laces), i mean who has time for that ?!?...i sure as hell don't, i got shit to do ...like ...LOOK FOR NEW SHOES ...i love new shoes ..i love the feel ..the smell ..the way they get where im coming from ..i believe i will custom order some off the vans website ..oh yeah by the way i only wear vans , not because they are better than any other shoe ..but mostly because i believe they make me quite a bit cooler than Adam .ALOT cooler .

OK BUT on the off chance that someone out there knows of some just totally kick ass pair of shoes that i havent heard about , feel fee to tell me all about them .

i wrote this around the time i was moving when it became clear that all my friends, you know the ones that NEVER have anything going on , and sit around playing Halo for 12 hours at a time , seemed to be booked SOLID right around the time i needed everyones help slagging my crap from one place to the next ...then it sorta morphed into an homage to just about everyone i knew who ALWAYS seemed to hang out when i had cool stuff going on (read:extra cash) , but other than that couldnt be bothered to do much else .

anywho ...hopefully some of you will completely understand where this song is coming  from ..and if you find yourself identifying with it too much , well shame on you , you lazy worthless bastards .

ok so ....

its been a while since i have been on here to let you all know whats going on with Blame Amy ...and well, basically at this point , I'm not really sure WHAT is going on .Still don't have a bass player or drummer , and  to be perfectly honest havent even really talked to Andy in roughly a month , im not sure how he is feeling , maybe he has been "hiding out " like i have , trying to digest what all has transpired in the last few months . I know for myself it has been extremely hard .Adam  is getting married next month , so things are probably looking up for him ..lol...and Mike called the other day about him getting a house (all good news i suppose ) but i can't help feeling like all the wonderful news for THEM, seems to have have come SQUARELY at the expense of all MY hopes and aspirations for this band being flushed down the toilet .Maybe thats a selfish way to think about things , i dont know ...its just how i feel ..I Do know i spent every waking moment of the past 3+ years trying to make this thing a reality only to have it crumble away just when it felt like things were actually going somewhere .

Soooooo where do i go from here ?...in all honesty I have no idea what to do ....Andy said he's doing "open mic" nights at the M and J ...so i suppose anyone wondering what he's up to could catch him down there .I'm just going to continue writing and recording in my home studio for the time being , i feel awful for all the people who took the time to help us out along the way , if you would have bet me i would be writing this crappy little blog a year ago ...well i would be ducking you right now (sorry im broke ).

on a the plus side , all my dealings with the record label  are over and finalized now , i own me free and clear  ...AND WOULD LIKE  TO  WISH PIGGYBACK RECORDS ALL THE LUCK IN THE WORLD .

well thats about it for now , if i write any music i deem myspace-worthy i will be sure to post it up .
