Kim-chee and roast beef! Okay, that was random... Kinda how I feel right now. Work has been too slow for my liking. When I get migraines the boss does not like me coming in because he feels that I am not as productive with them, even though I can usually program very decently even with a migraine, and other times during the spring and summer he is gone to different shows so the office is closed. Luckily I have not had many migraines, but I am still only averaging between 24-30 hrs a week at work, hence, I am looking for part time work on the side. I like to stay busy.
General update though: I am living in Newberg, OR. I finished building my house out here last October and am loving the new place. Needing to get friends over for Patio BBQ's though. My patio is feeling lonely. I currently have one roomate: PaladinV.
Ok, bored with that topic already. What else can I talk about? Eh, I never was good at blogging. I guess this will have to do for now. I may or may not blog in the near future.

So yeah, I did my first true digital painting. For now I also have it as my main image. I spent 12 hrs painting this duck, but I had a lot of fun doing it. I have also put up some items at My CafePress that highlight the duck. Ok, so this blog is also a little bit of an ad, but hey, can you blame me for being so happy about doing this painting. I dont think I could have done this good of a job with oil (at least not yet).

The weight of this world lies heavy on my shoulders, Friends knowing not all the burdens that I bare. But you, oh LORD gives me all the strength I need, And promise that you will be with me, always there. Through this life you gave us there are twists and there are turns, And though we never quite know the way All we need is to ask you, oh our Father. And you will guide us, each and every day. For I know not what tomorrow brings, Its troubled questions daily anew. For you I live though, oh LORD, Majesty overall, and all under you. Charles Siegfried, Mar 2005

Good morning everyone! I have to say that I am doing quite well so far this morning. I managed to get to sleep around 12:30 last night and so I got more than my average 4 hrs of sleep. So much to get done in the next two weeks. After a lot of prayer last week, I did decided to drop two of my three classes and just put more time at work to get this project done and out of the way. After talking with a few family members and friends to get their input on the matter we determined that this was probably the best option.
I am sure that Mom probably will not like the decision that I made, but even she cannot disagree that there is a lot on the plate ahead of me, especially if I get this position at FIOS. Speaking of which, I just talked with Andrew again last night (My friend whom I have known since High School and my "in" to Fios) and he said that it was still about 90% certainty that I am in, especially with me wanting the night shift there at Fios.
I hope to get the new comic up by the mid of this month. It looks like I am going to average about one comic a month right now, at least until I can get some more time for myself to do these things. Right now I also have friends wanting me to make some CD labels for them among other things. Some time I will have to post a portion of what I have left to do for this project for Wilson so people can see just what I am involved in here. I have gotten some scruff when I mention to some people that what I do is the work of five programmers… those who have seen what I am working on though, and Loriel who has helped, know exactly what I am dealing with. It is a great project, but it just a lot to do.
Well, I am here at home, getting ready to leave for work in a few minutes. I am sipping on my still rather hot coffee watching my cat try to wake up for the morning. She is so funny. She would be your typical "I don't do mornings" cat. Hey, I just realized that I still do not have my comment system up. Hmmmm. I will have to fix that soon. I have most of the structure in place, I just need to finish the code for it. Ok, New Goal: Have the Comment system up by April 1st! Until then you can just email me and I will post comments in the blog itself.
Take care everyone and I will write to you all later. Chao!

Welcome everyone to my place on MySpace. As stated in the header, Profiles are not enough to get a feel of a person. By the time you get to reading this, you are probably in the main part of the song on the page (Unless you already stopped it.) Yes, I am a Christian. No I do not follow a religion. One of the things that I wanted to expand upon was my Heroes. The first of which is my Dad. It is through much of his love and guidance that I have become the man that I am today. I may not have always agreed with him, but the more that I live, the more I see the sense in what he said and did in his life. There is so much I still wish to know, that only he could tell me. The advice he could still give, if only I could ask. Would he be proud of me and all that I have done? The next hero would be my Mother and third grade teacher. Because of her patients(grammar?) and gental guidance I have been able to look at the world around me in a non-judgmental way. Her ability to see the good in everyone and build it up and express upon it is a skill that I hope to one day master myself. Other heroes would be my friends, who have stayed by me through thick and thin. They were there when my health was low and was "getting back on my feet". In their own way, pushing me to do better.. to have a random friend with to play games online with or to just waist time with. There are more out there, and one day I hope to mention them all, but for now I will leave you all to your exploring
