Or, more accurately, the psy stage was cut from the Ravers of the Lost Tarp party.  Therefore, I will not be performing.  My appologies to anyone who was looking forward to seeing the show, but the situation is out of my hands.  Supposedly there will be a makeup psy party, but we'll see how the cards fall on that one...

Well, I've decided to go ahead and upload one more sample from the group of tracks I'm currently working on.  It's from a song titled Technological Forest.  This one is actually a bit of a departure for me.  It's not as aggressive as a lot of my work, at least not until the end. :)  It is thick, though, and probably the most psychedelic track I've done to date, in my opinion.  This is just a sampling of one of the first movements.  (I tend to write tracks in movements if you haven't noticed yet.)

It actually came from the writing process of Hakujin Desu.  While I was working on that song, I kept coming up with these ideas and sounds that I felt were really good and interesting, but just didn't fit in with the theme and feel of Hakujin Desu....  And thus Technological Forest was born and became its own beast...

Well, since I last uploaded a sample of new Justincaseboy material I've actually completed two more tracks.  One of them, at least, you'll get to hear in its entirety next month as I'm going to be making a pack of 4 complete tracks in wav format available for download.  Stay tuned here for the details.

In the meantime, I'm actually hard at work on three more tracks, one of them with another well known producer.  I figured I'd upload a sample of one of them for ya'll to check out.  Go find the Redneck remix in my player and give it a listen. ;)  Hope you enjoy!

So, it seems like I've been a bit quiet on here recently, compared to the past round of almost weekly updates from the studio....  I've been working, though, trust me. ;)  Been getting ready for World Bridge and working on some remixes, too.  No, not another Lamb of God track, though that is in the back of my head for the future, but of other people's psy stuff, one full-on and one prog psy.  It's been interesting to do the work, a nice little change from what I turn out of my own head...  Anyway, this upcoming weekend I'll be pretty much confined to the studio, so maybe I'll switch out some of the older demo samples with some new stuff next week, but I'm not sure.  I may just make a "remix wav pack" available sometime in the future, and give ya'll some complete tracks instead....  You'll just have to poke your head in here every once and a while and see what happens....

True to form, I've been working pretty much non-stop in the studio.  And, yet again, I'm uploading a sample of the latest tune I'm working on.  No, it's not Bakemono.  ;)  This one's called Akumu.  Not finished yet, but I figured I'd give you a little taste since I mentioned it in my last post.  Hope you enjoy!

Well, I'm happy to say that Spontaneous Hallucinations is all finished up.  It has a weird almost goa quality to it, and aspects that could almost be considered darkpsy, I'm sure, as is apparent in the demo sample I put up last week.  Anyway, that one more 150bpm monster done.  Oddly enough, my material seems to keep getting faster.  One of the other tracks I'm working on, Akumu, is also at 150 bpm.  I don't think I'll ever get to the hyper-fast speeds that others use, though.  Once tracks get too fast, they kind of lose groove, in my opinion.  And groove is important to me. :)

OK, well, back to working on Akumu and Bakemono.  Want to place any bets on which will be finished up first, considering how long I've been working on the latter already? ;)

Sometimes things are a struggle and other times they just seem to fall in place.  The latter is the case with the new track I just started working on two days ago.  Just about halfway done with it already.  It's just kind of been pouring out...  and it's full fuckin' power!  It's called "Spontaneous Hallucinations" and I've uploaded a sample.  Hope ya'll enjoy it as much as I do!
