For the first time since joining the service I am getting back to regular volunteer work. I just spent the day walking and playing with dogs at the humane society. I have missed regular contact with dogs since I left the active army (was a Dog Handler) I have not felt this good this at peace in a long long time. Spending the day in the sun with my favorite people (well mans best friends) brought some prospective back to life, and a wide smile to to my lips.

I'll be there again next week.

Tirade from a forum complaining about impact guns.

Hi all former Impact employee. I worked for them 89 days full time and was told you are not catching on fast enough we have to let you go. I have 130 IQ, and college education.  While in the military made E5 faster than my peers and got K9 school paid for by my brigade without reenlistment. I am not an egomaniac but  . Please this was a shit low pay retail job. (my first since leaving the service) We Have among the lowest unemployment in the nation in the Salt Lake valley so there solution was to offer benefits they had no intention of making good on and fire a good employee for no reason.(on my first day back from a family funeral) Hi turnover and practices like that are the reason for poor C.S. Too many red flags I should have walked long before the 90 day mark.

In stock 48 hours often means (our computers are linked to Davidson's it says they have it) 5-7 Days means computers say that one of the major distributors has one. Blank often means we are sorry no one has one in the entire country its coming from Argentina through customs and forget the time we quoted you its standard policy to keep your money as long as possible.

So if you are ever driving and little ice crystals (powder) are blowing across a perfectly dry straight road and you are just keeping up with traffic and following right behind someone. Slow the fuck (oops I meant truck) down. So now I just need a home, a job, and a truck. Lost lots of money on a truck I barely got to drive and messed up a lot of my property I should be grateful to be alive and feel "lucky." Bullspit Lucky was never getting in the wreck in the first place.  There where 7 accidents in 20 something minutes along a 60mi stretch of highway. I hate Idaho the roads were clean and dry then look at the freakin picture bunch of potato farmin ................

 

Someone asked me what happened ask a silly question and you get this...

I was just driving in  a straight line and the ground moved, then my truck went sideways up became down and down became up (a few times three I think) the ground hit my truck hard and broke it. Spread my shit all over the median. But I am OK.

I toured the site that the Abu Graib scandal happened at. To this day across this prison there are human bones found in the dirt. There are mass graves where the grass grows tall. And there is only one other time in my life that I have felt any thing that compares to the rage, sorrow, sadness, and utter bewilderment in the unlimited capacity for evil within the human spirit. The disgust twisting the pit of my stomach only compares to what I felt at the Holocaust Museum in LA. I have herd stories of Sodom bringing his grade school aged sons to shoot prisoners, Uday asked a guard for more bullets. Latter in life he returned to help "solve" an over crowding problem. He and his friends shot one thousand prisoners, walked down the hall near the death chamber where three thousand men slept on one side and pissed and shit on the other and, pulled their triggers on every third man. Before this was done in this building alone there where an estimated 15,000 men in a prison designed for 2,000. There was twenty CM2 of actual cell space for every prisoner at that time. The gallows ended the lives of more than 120,000 people not to include the lives men fed into wood chippers and shot into the waters of the Tiberius River.  There are hooks in the ceiling throughout the prison, and torture chambers in ever building. The hospital ward stunk with a combination of mildew and rotting flesh. The smell was so overwhelming in the "surgery" room during our tour we all had dry heaves and ran from the smell. Our tour guide promised us that the room had been cleared of all bodies and that smell was from under the floor where dirt was poured over cement to level the floor and tile laid over that. I doubt any medical care took place with instruments other than bullets and AK47s. There are more EVIL VILE men in this world with this kind of power. Count yourself lucky for the opportunities in your life; I'll count myself lucky to be a part of a war I believe in, even if I don't condone being lied to about the justification used to bring our nation into it.
