Friday the 13th of November 2009. We played close to home at the Lennox Point Hotel in Lennox Head, It was freaky friday and we were primed for a night of looseness haha. In true Lennox style we were not disappointed! We had the pleasure of meeting Joe, Stu and Marco, from Brisbane band 'The Videomatics'. Who we invited down for the support. They played a solid set with stand out tunes 'Intense wear Lipstick' and 'Data Collection CCTV' being personal and crowd favourites. Check out their page and look out for more gigs from them. www.myspace.com/thevideomatics
Thanks again lennox for your support, we had a great night apart from the over zealous punter drooling on Zozo's arm haha. We look forward to our return! Matty L, we hope your finger has recovered after the beating it took from that crab on the dance floor, we know your intentions were good, pity bout its wee nipper though. Speak soon PF

Hi. The 7th November was a really fun night. We headed up to Toowoomba to the Bon Amici cafe on Margaret St. We have really fond memories from our last excursion and are looking forward to catching up with owner and all round rad guy Cookie. Its also Mitch's birthday so we are amped for a big night. http://www.myspace.com/ohfearfulflyeropen the night and receive a great home crowd reception with their indie punk rock, a real tip of the hat to The Clash. We look forward to catching them again. Next we take to the stage, opening with we live your life, which Mitch the birthday boy totally butchers LOL. His bass is tuned to some alternate tuning which he does not figure out till two thirds of the way through the tune, classic! The rest of the set goes to plan and we have a really fun night. The last to hit the stage is headlining act www.myspace.com/ihearthiroshima
who have just come off an extensive tour and a support for You Am I the night before. They breeze through their set of Indie Powerpop with great vocal harmonies and energetic delivery.
The night is done and as we retire to our Motel rooms for a few birthday bevies we reflect on what a great place the Bon Amici is to come and play.
Take care, catch you soon!

Hi there, Some weeks back now we had the pleasure of playing with some great people both on the Goldie at the Shark Bar and in Byron at the Great Northern. The shark bar in Miami on the goldie was a night of epic stature. We had no less than five acts grace the stage showcasing a very eclectic mix of styles. The night was opened with Local singer songwriter Julianne Powell. www.myspace.com/bluemonkeycheese Thanks Julz Then two sets of Brothers from the central coast of NSW. www.myspace.com/modernjoyThanks Byron, Cail, cameron and Jacob. Next saw the Hobos hit the stage with gizmo's a plenty. www.myspace.com/hamburgerearmuffs Thanks Andy and Jhonny Then the punk, rap metal stylings of The Molotov www.myspace.com/themolotov1 Thanks Scart, KT, Matt and Stu The next week saw us head back home to Byron for our Launch at The Great Northern. We would love to make an honorable mention to the boys from the last who stepped up to the plate with an hour long set to help fill the void left by 'The Villain' who unfortunately had to cancel at the last minute. www.myspace.com/thelast Thanks Phil, kris, Mole, Marc and Shaun. Once again you came to the rescue. Hope you get the chance to check all these acts! cheers PF

hey guys, Sorry, been getting a little behind with the tour entries as the head has been a little hazy! A few weeks back we were lucky enough to score another support slot for Bluejuice, this time we traveled to the Plantation Hotel in Coffs Harbour on Friday Oct 16th. At this point, we would like to take the time to thank them for their consideration of support bands and for generally being top fellas. When we rocked up they had already organised the venue to supply every band with enough Sub way sandwiches, Asahi beer and red wine to keep us more than happy. We kicked off the proceedings to a less than packed room, but none the less we played a tight set and really enjoyed ourselves. Next to hit the stage was The Jezabels from Sydney, turns out several members are from the byron area now residing in Sydney. Check them out, they have some beautifully crafted tunes. www.myspace.com/jezabelsband
The stage was set for the headliners, and once again they did not disappoint despite some sore throats and flu symptoms. They drew the crowd to them with a natural ease and proceeded to deliver the Bluejuice express. They have so many party hits and really know how to work their audience.
We must also give kudos to the staff at the Plantation Hotel, they really looked after us even after mitch drank too much Tequila, fell of his stool, rolled under a pool table and left a small trail of sub way back up the stairs to the room! we hope they will have us back.
On Sat Oct 17th, we spent some time at the beach in Coffs and managed to get a couple of waves under our belts, some a lot more than others. Then we headed to Yamba for the gig with locals LOCUS
www.myspace.com/locustheband who unfortunately were asked not to play by management during their sound check, there were some heated moments that followed and we were forced to play two sets. To Locus, we apologise for not asking the venue beforehand if we could have you as our support. We thought that we were supporting the local scene and hopefully adding to a better night all round! Sun Oct 19th we made our way to the Powerhouse in Brissy for the weekly installment of LiveSpark, a music and comedy afternoon held every sunday. Huge kudos to Jo from brispop for making it all a reality. http://www.brispop.com/The Sundance kids openned the proceedings and did not disappoint their adoring fans. myspace.com/thesundancekidsWe played after them to a rather large gathering and a great response. Thanks to our former drummer chris for making the effort to take some great pics for us. It was the second time we have played the Powerhouse and once again we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Then we drove home again, so we could go to work on monday! stay tuned guys, there is still more to come from the 'we live your life tour' diary. cheers PF

Hi Friends,
We
Hit Melbourne for the third leg of our 'we live your life tour' last
weekend. Thankfully we took the flying option as opposed to the driving
option, very much harder on the wallet but wonderful for the sanity.
Our
first stop was the The Vineyard Hotel in St Kilda. Its a great gig, we
come on a at 11pm on a thurs night (great for the uni students) and we
get to play an hour set, really warms us up for the other dates while
we are down in Melbs.
The manager of the night Dan, was again in
fine form, not only did he pour a bottle of beer over mitch's head
after the show, but he also grabbed frankie unawares right on the nuts.
Yes, yes we always look forward to the Vineyard and the guarantee of
shenanigans.
Fri night saw us hit the stage at Revolver Upstairs
supporting Angela's Dish from the central coast. We had a wicked set,
the stage there is really top notch and the soundy Andy was playing
around with some vocal delays that sounded really cool, he was enjoying
himself!check the link below for a review from fasterlouder.
http:../../..www...fasterlouder...com...au/..reviews/..events/..20777/..Angelas-..Dish-..Ikarii-..Detective-..Social-..Polaroid-..Fame-..-..Revolver-..Melbourne-..91009.htm
Oh nearly forgot, we also filmed a band profile for beat tv before our set at Revolver, check it out. (episode 145)
http:../../..www...beattv.com.au/
Sat
night, we hit WOW Club @ Inflation in Melbs CBD supporting DZ from
Brisbane. We had a great set then saw and heard some awesome bands.
Thanks to all the friends and family who made it along. Sorry the
evening was soured when Zoe's wallet was stolen by some arse hole, we
recovered the wallet minus a substantial amount of cash. May Karma be
swift!
During our lay time in Melbs we set a task of filming
another video for our track 'bowie's new jacket'. Thanks to the effort
of Rob and Stepf from NYC we shot some interesting stuff around
Melbourne, stay tune for the results in the coming months.
Once
again melbourne has been good and bad to us, the majority being great,
thanks again, we really look forward to our next adventure to the
garden city.
