According to my highly scientific calculations and statistical modeling, approximately 92% of human beings on Earth have better lives than they are even aware of but are hampered by their own attitude.

A friend passed away last month.
As sad as it was, it was a reminder that I’m still here,
above ground, walking, looking around...

Again, at the risk of sounding like a hippie, I’m thankful for everything.
As hard as things get they could get a lot harder.
I’m sane, healthy, have some great friends, a place to live and something to do....

Hi Friends,

I'll be playing with Diego's Umbrella at a Save Rent Control
Benefit at the Make out room [3225 22nd st., SF] this friday night from 7:30-9:30.
Also on the bill are Virgil Shaw, Tim Cohen [Black Fiction], Yard Sale and
The Buckets.

Listen and download "The Save Rent Control Song" i made for the occasion here:

If proposition 98 passes on June 3 it will make rent control
illegal in California, along with some other negative consequences
for our water supply and the environment. Proposition 99
is the real eminent domain bill that will protect homeowners
from having their property snatched for commercial development.
All proceeds from this benefit will go to the SF Tenants Union.

This is where people who usually don't write things, write things, which are usually wrong things. Why do we do it? Why do other people have to read this? This is totally dumb and unimportant yet it somehow tells every story that's ever been told. I want to sail the seas on a small boat but I also want to sit in the sun and do nothing all day. Heck, I suppose everyone wants more then they have. Sometimes that means being a better person, sometimes that means war…or maybe just a new pair of shoes. I'm gullible and slow-thinking. Sometimes when I realize what a fool I've been and always will be I feel anxious while other times this just makes me smile and laugh. Please let me know what you think, but make it constructive. I don't want my ego to expand yet I don't want you to hurt my feelings. Thanks!
