What do you guys think?

To a degree, I think there is a lot of sensationalism here. It's time to live it up this summer while we still can!

A question: Is this kind of attention good for McKibbin St and it's residents?

Current mood:  quixotic
...usually involve a LOT of sweaty men men, TERRIBLE DJ's who seem to be practicing (holy trainwrecks!) and the unmistakable aroma of douche! It seems that the 19 year old hipster wannabe crowd across the way has finally taken over.

Now there are many exceptions to this rule I'm sure, so before you get all that sand in your vagina just realize that you know exactly what I'm talking about! YOU! KNOW!

New 255 Flyer: "Sausage Fest testosterone and PBR fueled nights on the town with lukewarm passion and a taste for the tepid. Come to 255!"

Prove me wrong. Please.

I know there are people that can throw great parties around here, where are they?
What happenned to this scene where things are held to a high standard? Why do we consistently reward mediocracy? Shouldn't you just move to Los Angeles?? Is it that the good DJS and party promoters have all run off to places like the Cook St. Lofts, or even worse, the Lower East Side? *shudder*

Let's bring Brooklyn back, huh? Come on, you can do better than that 255. I know you're emotionally vulnerable right now and running out of money from your trust, but come on already!

Also, I heard there were SEVERAL break-ins on New Years Eve. Anyone want to talk about that?

There has been significant interest in a Tenants Association, so an association is formed!  I need input - when and where should everyone meet? How Often? What issues need to be discussed? Besides....

1. Most people are fired up about our bedbug problem.  We really need to find out for sure who has them and who doesn't for sure.  I have heard from some people, but not nearly enough! Please email me with your apartment number, and whether or not you currently have or do not have a problem with bedbugs. Rumors are welcome too! I will never re-post any info to accuse or identify anyone's apartment numbers, names, or anythng else without permission.

Please post any ideas.  Also, I'll be beefing up the content of our page, so if you have any ideas that you'd like me to impliment, send those along too! Remember, you can always message me with private info and I will protect your identity.
