Are just a gathering of peaceful strangers looking to make music and friends.  Gathering in the village of Ortonville usually around the fountain at the corner of South and Mill streets or in side yard at the Old Town Hall on the corner of Church & Mill Streets.  Later in the year, the village of Ortonville starts it’s beets, beats and eats and more gather in Crossman park, behind the bead store, for $6 dollar dinners and a market, with organic vegatables, bakegoods,crafts and the like.  It makes for a good Friday night.    There are numerous campgrounds in the area; an rv park right on M-15 called Clearwater Campground, there’s Bloomer State Park with camping on Sawmill Lake Rd (it’s called the equestrian campground), there’s Holly Recreation State park and there’s also Groveland Oaks County Park, some are two minutes away from town, some are 7 minutes away.    Oh yea, most musicians are showing up about 7:30 or so and it goes on until your done.  And the restrooms at the Firehall are available, just knock on the door.

Due to the Easter break.... those of us with kids have possible adventures awaiting.  But see you back in April!

Finally, we have the open mic videos up.   Some of them have played on stage for years, some are just friends getting together, some of them are inspired song writers, some are reaching for their dreams, some are having a blast, some are getting on stage for the first time... whomever, whatever, they are playing to support music at the Old Town Hall, and that makes them STARS!
