Inner Visions at The Saint 9/30/09

One last show before the Inner Visions gang heads back home to St. John was held last night at The Saint in Asbury Park NJ. It was good to see them one last time for the year and it seemed to put a wrap on the summer of 2009 for me. It was nice to hear them play a lot of their new stuff coming out on their new cd Stay Alive. From the haunting Mama Africa to the bouncy Lion & The Lioness to the tough tune hand cuff IV nailed it down.

The performance lasted a bit over two hours and they capped off the show with the great song Ethiopia. They seemed truly excited about now being able to go home after a long summer away from St John and with the colder fall temperatures settling in who can blame them.
