Yeah, that's it. They suck. Especially when they can't speak English. That's even more fun. HATE THEM.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who is irritated by this. MySpace has a status for many different parental statuses, but not a step-parent one. Does anyone find that odd or is it just me? I just got married and am now a stepmom. I don't consider this anything that truly identifies me, but I can't have kids and find it nice that I at least get an opportunity to be something to my husband's kid. Not that a title matters or anything, but it would be nice to be able to show that I'm proud to be a step parent.

I decided to clean up the layout as it was getting incredibly crowded. The wonderful texture I used in the background is curtosey of Sarah Beth at Rebel Majesty. Click on the link to check out her site - it rocks! I haven't been here forever because I have been working on my Live Journal. If anyone has an icon journal on Live Journal and would like to check out mine, head on over there.

So for all you Pink Floyd nuts out there - I am watching the promotional copy of the new Floyd DVD that I got from my boyfriend's Sony rep right now. This is not the old Pulse video just put onto DVD. This is the full show done from Earl's Court. It is FANTASTIC! I believe it is available in stores next Friday, so if you enjoy Pink Floyd, or just feel like having something to listen to while getting heavily stoned (or geeking out on the computer like me), pick it up. The visuals are just insane. :-)

I went to see David Gilmore last night in Chicago. Having never gone to a Pink Floyd concert before, and this was as close as I could get, it kicked ass! All I have to say is that I would have hated to have ever been on anything at a Floyd show because watching the lighting straight was enough in its own.
If anyone else is seeing him on this short tour, know that the first half of the show is his new album. After that, all Pink Floyd!
Sadly for me though, only one track from "The Wall". Comfortably Numb. I do love "The Wall".

Okay, to all of you out there who like horror movies - go see "The Hills Have Eyes" right now!!! I was actually lucky enough to sit through this movie on Friday night without having to deal with people allowing their four years olds in the movie, or, possibly worse, having to deal with teenagers who want to do nothing but make people in the theater miserable by being incredibly obnoxious. (For those of you reading this who are teenagers, I'm talking about those ones, not all of you). Anyway, the movie kicks ass, as far as a horror movie can. It's gorey, violent, and disturbing. Blood, blood, blood everywhere... My mom and I should go see it next week. On to "The Libertine". If you are female, for the love of God, go see this one. The first five minutes of the movie where Johnny Depp sits and addresses the women in the audience, talking about how he'll do you, how you'll enjoy it, and how he'll enjoy it, is fully worth the price of admission right there. The rest of the movie, not so much... My wonderful boyfriend brought me to this one and trust me, any guy bringing their girlfriend to this, is guarenteed sex afterward. Just so you know... Just finished watching the season premiere of "The Sopranos" and "Big Love". Awesome. Bis dann.
