Hi Everyone,

Things have been very busy on the road with Stanton Moore as we wrap up our tour this week with a final date in Florida. From there, I'll take a quick breather with a hometown gig at Smalls in NY, then I'm off to Colorado and beyond in support of my new record, Blue Plate Special.

For more info, check the tour schedule. Hope to see you there!

This Sunday the Blue Owl (196 2nd ave) was going off in the right kind of way. For those who don't know The Blue Owl is my New York steady gig...steady in that I usually play there a few times a month on Sundays when I am in town. This last Sunday we had a great band....Diego Voglino on drums Brian Charette on organ Myself on geetar and John Ellis on Tenor saxophone.....All great players. In addition, we had Chuck McKinnon on trumpet show up as well as George Schuller-drums,Andrew Emer-bass, Adam Scone-organ, Evan Howard came and layed down anice second line on the drums.

This comparable to the night a couple of months ago when we had Keith McArthur, Eric Kalb, Josh Roseman, Cochemea Gastelum,Andrew Emer and Avi Bortnick.

We have two more coming up in July..hoping to continue in this vein....

We are getting set for a trip....riding out in the old van. Take a drive out to the mile high city with Wil Blades B3 strapped to the back http://www.myspace.com/wilbladesb3

Brandon Etzler is bring his legendary Mahogany Gretsch drums so we are set

This is the first time for either of those blokes to play in Denver so it will be a good time.

Expect to hear a lot of Old School Organ funk and some psychadelic guitar.
