Current mood:  cold
I have no time for anything anymore, let alone a band. Therefore, Bear Eats Fish will be going on indefinite hiatus following our show on the 17th.

We'll see what happens when this semester is over, but don't look for any Bear Eats Fish shows (with me as guitar player at least) until next year.

Better come to our Playmakers show dammit!

The show with Skink and Toast (or the band formerly known as Toast) went well. Decent crowd, good show by all, overall enjoyable time.

I decided to post a couple of live tracks from Scenefest 2 for all of you to enjoy. "Diggin A Foxhole" and "Wormcheck"; they aren't the best quality recording wise since I believe it was just recorded with one mic via a soundboard (i could be wrong about that), but they are listenable.

anyways, thanks to Skink for letting us play the show. It was fun, hopefully we made some new fans, and maybe we can do it again sometime.

yeah, we have a new song written, as well as parts of a couple others that we haven't really worked on yet.

Also, I'll probably be uploading new mp3's soon

our Theory of a Deadman show is dead, but it may be replaced by a better show...info as soon as I get it.

The music Gods have blessed Bear Eats Fish with a new song. Yes...you read that correctly.

Damn I'm bored...

So anyways, we got invited to play at the royal grove next Saturday. If we win, we'll get to open for some big national hard rock band. I find that to be the most humorous idea EVER and so I'm going to try to get as many of you out to that show to vote for us as I possibly can.

We also have a show this saturday at Duggan's. The show is 21+ and costs $5.00 We haven't practiced in over a month since I've been out of state and our singer has been out of the country. In fact,  I haven't even picked up a guitar in quite a while. Should be an interesting show...

Also, all of you should continually check The Keyhole . That's my Lincoln webzine and we have a ton of stuff lined up for the next few weeks.

As a lot of you know, my friends and I will begin filming a horror movie at an old theater in Grand Island next month. Keep checking The Keyhole for updates on that as well.

Now, back to script writing...

Currently, our scoobalicious lead singer is running around that liberal utopia known as Europe. I believe he gets back on the 15th and then we have a show the 18th at Duggan's.

We haven't practiced in quite a while. Should go alright though.

Don't forget to check our website here to keep up to date with the latest news, rumors and innuendo.

I think it's pretty much a go that we will be playing Duggans on Saturday, June 18th. I believe we are playing with the Guapotones and one other band that I'm not quite sure of the name. Jeff is in Germany. I will be in South Dakota and Minnesota for the next two weeks. Look for some new Bear Eats Fish songs to debut at Duggans. Spoon

I don't believe there will be any new Bear Eats Fish shows for awhile. I think Brady and I are going to disappear into an underground bunker and not return until we have five or six new songs written. I'm sick and tired of playing the same seven songs for the past 2+ years and I really don't want to play another show until we have something new. In other news, Deejay Scharton has said he'll record BEF this summer which is great because I don't think Gorka's recording will ever be finished. Until next time...
