Hello Everyone,
I know I haven't posted any blogs in a while, but I've been really busy in the studio and putting together a band...so things have been kinda crazy. It's all coming together though and I'm happy to say that I have a great band behind me and we'll be playing-out in a city near you soon!
I'm in WV for my mother's Birthday and Thanksgiving. To my surprise I ended up doing a show Sat night at the Sagebrush Roundup and had a great turn out....I believe there were about 300 folks that showed up....considering it was cold and snowy...that's pretty good. :) Check-out my vids and photos of the show. I will be posting more later in the next few days to a week...so check back in a while. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays! Hey Guys, Just wanted to give you an update as to what I've been up to. If you haven't talk to me in a while, it's b/c I've been traveling to Nashville quite a bit. I've been in the studio working with some amazing songwriters and an amazing producer, Chuck Howard. He has worked with Leann Rimes, Keith Urban, Tim Mcgraw, Tammy Wynett...the list goes on. Anyway, I have put some new songs on my mypace, and also have an official website up which is www.musicbyshawnallen.com. Please go and check it out! Keep in mind, that the site is new and we have alot of work to do. I would appreciate any suggestions from anyone. We hope to have it up and running by Jan 1st. I will be auditioning for new band members soon...so if you know anyone who wants to be in a country/rock band let me know, or have them contact me. Al ot of great things are happening for 2008. I have interest from a couple major and indie labels. Those of you who know me...know how long and how much work I have put into this and it finally looks like things are paying off!
