Unfortunately, this time we're writing for giving you bad news. Only few days ago we discovered Nicolas suffers from leukemia. He will have to go through a rather long period of therapy and this won't allow him to give his contribution to the life of Slowmotion Apocalypse. We're all shocked and as a band we decided to wait for him to be able to have a normal life and to be able to play with us again. We are therefore taking a pause for an indeterminate period of time. All our shows are cancelled. We're sure you'll understand the reasons of our choice.
A special message to all our friends: Nicolas needs first of all to have a rest. We ask you not to call him but rather send him text messages.
Thank you all.

Grazie a tutti.

A seguire DJ set metal e hardcore.

(English, Italian below)

We are glad to let you know our third album "Mothra" is born. Recorded and mixed by Andreas Magnusson (Black Dahlia Murder, The agony Scene, Oh Sleeper, We Were Gentlemen, etc.) at Planet Red Studios, in Richmond, VA, and mastered by Alan Douches (Converge, Misfits, Dillinger Escape Plan, Hatebreed, Mastodon, etc.) at West West Side Music, New Windsor, NY, the album features two breathtaking guests on vocals: Myke Terry from Bury Your Dead and Matthew Rudzinski from Killwhitneydead. Track-list is as follows: "Caterpillar", "Forever, Works Just In Songs", "In Full View of Heaven", "Me, Kate and Other Bastard Sons of My Generation", "Stash", "What a Rockin' Heavy Metal Get-Up, Dude!", "Dim Shape in a Black Hole Life", "Gamera Part. 1: Death Worship Era", "Gamera Part. 2: The So Called Northern Half", "Haiku". "Mothra" represents a new step in our life as a band, a new shape for both our sound and our song-writing and it's our most sick and experimental album so far. It will surprise you! All artwork will be worked out by visionary artist Seldon Hunt (Neurosis, Melvins, Isis, KK Null, Ephel Duath, etc.). We're currently unsigned and we'll soon chose a label to release the album. If interested contact us at info@slowmotionapocalypse.com.

La track-list è la seguente: "Caterpillar", "Forever, Works Just In Songs", "In Full View of Heaven", "Me, Kate and Other Bastard Sons of My Generation", "Stash", "What a Rockin' Heavy Metal Get-Up, Dude!", "Dim Shape in a Black Hole Life", "Gamera Part. 1: Death Worship Era", "Gamera Part. 2: The So Called Northern Half", "Haiku".

Hi everybody,

our work at Planet Red Studio goes on. Guitars have been tracked on five songs then vocals have been tracked on three of those. We also have some great news about vocals... The mighty Bury Your Dead frontman Myke Terry took part in the Mothra album as a guest on “Dim Shape In Ablack Hole Life”. We're proud to have Myke on our new album and we'd like to thank him for his kindness and friendship.
Stay tuned for more...

Current mood:  excited

Hi Slowmotioners,

it's time for the first report about our studio session at Planet Red.
As you might already know we are in Richmond, Virginia recording our third album with producer Andreas Magnusson (Black Dahlia Murder, The agony Scene, Oh Sleeper, We Were Gentlemen, etc.) We started with drums last Friday and yesterday we completed recording ten new tracks. Now it's time for guitars. Things are coming along nicely and everyone is looking forward to record his part. We'll keep you updated...

After a couple of days to recover from jet-leg our normal day is like this: wake up at 8:30 AM then breakfast, at 1 AM we go to the studio and eat some junk-food we buy along the way. We stay in the studio until midnight or later. Dinner time is around 9 PM... junks again.

Stay tuned.
