Coolness means not being afraid to admit that you've started listening to David Gray again.
With that said, I must say that I've been listening to and enjoying David Gray all morning.

I have a new song on my space. The problem is that I've been unable to think of a name for it (right now, it's simply "Demo No1"). If you have a chance, I would love it if you could visit my space and give the tune a listen. Then, if you're able to think of any ideas for song names, just leave me a comment or a message. I would be very grateful.
Sean

Congratulations to Logan for winning the inaugural "Email of the Week!" Contest.
On Wednesday, at 8:23 p.m., I received the following message from Logan:
"WHAT THE HELL! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU? CALL ME SOMETIME, AND LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU'RE IN COLUMBUS NEXT......"
I still haven't called him.
Submissions are now being accepted for next week's contest. Good luck to all!

Ann Coulter, January of 2007: "If [Lewis "Scooter"] Libby were a Democrat, we would know the sexual proclivities of everyone in Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald's office, Judith Miller would be portrayed as a "stalker," Tim Russert's cat would be dead, and the public would know about every toupee at MSNBC."

Disappointed by the lack of new Chuck Norris jokes, I decided to create some of my own. Enjoy! 1. The Big Bang: Last week, scientists were startled to discover that the cause of the universe's accelerating expansion was not dark energy, as previously and widely theorized, but the immeasurable force created by billions of Chuck Norris roundhouse kicks. 2. The nature of our existence: Physicists studying the Big Bang have found much comfort in the developing notion that our Universe—rather than being vast and meaningless, as it appears—is actually just one atom in a much larger universe made up of giant Chuck Norrises.
3. Time is, indeed, on our side: Famous mathematician, Jan Schligelmoff, recently calculated that for every million light years the Universe expands, each individual organism's chances of being dealt a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick to the face drops by approximately.0000000004%.
4. The politics of Iraq: Though initially skeptical of President Bush's "Iraq Surge" strategy for resolving the conflict in Iraq, much of the nation has now begun to rally behind the plan, based solely it seems on the President's recent explanation that "Surge" is just military speak for "Chuck Norris."

Henry Kissinger, in 1979: "The superpowers often behave like two heavily armed blind men feeling their way around a room, each believing himself in mortal peril from the other whom he assumes to have perfect vision. Each side should know that frequently uncertainty, compromise, and incoherence are the essence of policymaking. Yet each tends to ascribe to the other a consistency, foresight, and coherence that its own experience belies. Of course, over time, even two blind men can do enormous damage to each other, not to speak of the room."

1. Holiday season is the best time of the year, followed closely by October.
2. Anyone who claims not to be "that into" U2 has likely never listened to either The Unforgettable Fire or Achtung Baby without interruption and with headphones--or is just being contrary and mean.
3. I wish there were sufficient time in the day that I could brush my teeth seven or eight times a day. It just tastes and feels so good.
4. Deciding what to do with your life is not nearly as important as deciding what to do while your deciding.
5. Don't even get me started on the Browns...

For those who have not heard, I will be moving to Lincoln, Nebraska this Saturday, November 11. In honor of this event, I would like to extend an invitation to what I am calling a "Moving Day Gala." Starting Friday at noon, this party will feature lifting and moving heavy furniture, listening to loud music, and consuming moderate to heavy quantities of domestic beer. Please RSVP directly to me if able to attend.

lately, i've been thinking a lot about life and its origins. last night there was a special on pbs, which i think was entitled "life and its origins" or something to that effect--though sarah told me the show was actually about comets. so have i been thinking this whole time about comets?
what have you been thinking about lately?
