Wow - what a weekend!

Great films, great fans and great guests...

A big thank you to all of our filmmakers, vendors, seminar guests and celebrities for making this one of our best years yet!

Unfortunately, we had to make the painful decision to cancel the appearance of Corey Feldman, Jamison Newlander and Chance Corbitt after we had major trouble with their travel plans (and the budgetary costs involved in correcting them at the last minute).

But still, the show went on and most of the fans, to their credit, understood that such things happen in this business. We deeply regret disappointing any of our attendees this season.

Stepping up to the challenge of filling in for our headliner was no other than the infamous Ken Foree who took to the stage and wowed the audience with an hour long talk about his career and personal life. This was followed by Lost Boy Brooke McCarter and G Tom Mac addressing the crowd for all things Lost Boys related.

Friday and Saturday nights VIP Parties were rocking to say the least. Friday saw the Reggie Bannister Band perform and Saturday, G Tom Mac blew everyone away with a tight set of amazing tunes (including Cry Little Sister) complete with video screens showing scenes from The Lost Boys.

By far G Tom Mac stole the show that night. People are still talking about it in fact!

The seminars featured everything from talks about bigfoot to how to produce your own indie film to paranormal investigations.

Our vending room was jam packed with almost double the amount we had last year!

And of course, the four days of film screenings were incredible too. Awards went to the best of of the best films, screenplays and even Eerie's Best Tattoo artist/shop.

All in all a gory good time and one hell of a roller coaster.

We'll be back to do it all over again in 2010!

Thanks to everyone who made this possible and for you, the fans, filmmakers and screenwriters for your support!

More to come...

GASP!

QUALITY CHEESE PRODUCTIONS TO UNLEASH

NEWLY RESTORED VERSION OF NOSFERATU IN.

CLASSIC 3D. ORLOK, THE VAMPIRE IN 3D TO

PREMIERE AT THE EERIE HORROR FEST

A haunting castle, a giggling realtor and a ghostly count in desperate need of a manicure are but a few of the strange and kooky elements Jonathan Hutter encounters on his surreal 3-dimensional journey in Orlok, the Vampire in 3D. This newly remastered variant of Nosferatu will premiere at the Eerie Horror Film Festival on Saturday, October 10, 2009.

Also, Orlok, the Vampire in 3D will be  available on DVD Sept. 29, 2009 exclusively at qualitycheeseproductions.com and Amazon. For $19.99 this delightfully entertaining 3D production delivers the perfect balance of mystery and intrigue, mixed with just the right amount of fun and classic B-Movie thrills.

A 10-minute sneak peek that premiered at the Washington, D.C., Independent Film Festival drew rave reviews from the audience:  “The 3D gave this film so much character.” “Scary, but I couldn’t stop laughing.” “The 3D effects really did create a fresh new perspective on Nosferatu.”

“Orlok, the Vampire in 3D offers viewers a chance to sample a true masterpiece with a contemporary spin,” says Keith Carter, creator of Orlok, the Vampire in 3D. He also says that the DVD will contain plenty of exciting extras, including new animated credits; never-before-seen footage; a whole new musical score; CGI graphics; an introduction by TROMA sensation Lloyd Kaufman, creator of the Toxic Avenger; and two pairs of 3D glasses.

Also available: Orlok, the Vampire in 2D for all the hard core Nosferatu cinephiles.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR....

Keith Carter, the creator of Orlok, the Vampire in 3D, is a Native American of Coharie descent. Mr. Carter began his career in 1986 penciling for a comic book company called Silverwolf Comics. Since then, his work has appeared in such publications as The Washington Post, USA Today and National Geographic. In 1993, Mr. Carter began a career in animation with a D.C.-based studio called News In Motion. While working with clientele such as Disney, CNN, The Smithsonian and Lucas Films, Mr. Carter developed his craft for animated storytelling. He is currently the creator/animator for the Emmy Award-winning campaign ‘Savingsman’ for ABC television.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS....

Max Schreck is back with his finest fang-to-flesh classic! Orlok, the Vampire in 3D is a newly restored version of Nosferatu. This never-before-seen print is an eerie and disturbing adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Shortly after its 1922 premiere, Murnau’s masterpiece became the subject of a bitter lawsuit. As a result, all known copies of this bloodsucking classic were destroyed.

Or so it was believed.

Eighty-seven years later, Quality Cheese Productions unleashes this unnerving stereoscopic nightmare. Prepare for a filmic feeding frenzy of fright!
