Your True Love Is a Capricorn
http://images.blogthings.com/whatsignisyourtruelovequiz/capricorn.jpg" height="100" width="100">

Why you'll love a Capricorn:

Hard working and driven, a Capricorn will work overtime to win your heart.

Be prepared to get wined and dined, even once you're convince that your Capricorn is the one!

Why a Capricorn will love you:

You don't rush things. You know it will take a while for a Capricorn to trust you, and you can wait.

Social and outgoing, you can introduce normally shy Capricorn to a great circle of friends.

Yay!  In exactly a weeks time I am going to the lovely Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt.  My cousin and I got a really good deal on lastminute.com and we are staying in a luxury 5 star resort.
I'm quite nervous today as I have to go and get my shots done, I've never been to a 'tropical' country before so I'll have to get them all, yikes!
I'll be there for a week relaxing in the sun and doing some activities, hopefully I can go and see the pyramids at some point.
Of course I will be posting pictures on here when I return.

I like to look reasonably good, I am vain enough to put the best pictures of myself on my Myspace profile.  This does not mean I am looking for every Tom, Dick and Harry to message me and tell me how much of a babe I am.  Or ask for my MSN etc etc.  I just want to say that I signed up on Mysapce for a bit of fun (see how many celebs I have added, hilarious), I am a pop culture freak and a fan in equal measures.  I will add you if you are a musician or in a band as I like supporting new artists, I will not add you if you just like the look of my pictures.  God this sounds so conceited, I don't think I'm 'All that' or anything far from it.  Basically I'm not on here looking for a man, I have one and I have done the internet thing and I don't really want to do it again.  I'm too old for that shit.  I always check the profile or people who want to add me, what is annoying is when you look at some guys friends list and it's full of pictures of half naked girls.  I'm not like that so don't try and add me because I won't definately add you.  Now if people want to add me you have to know my surname or my email, both of which will be hard if you don't know me, look my profile name is not my real name.  Also if you message me with some nonsense about how you want to MSN/Yahoo/etc me or how 'good' I look I will not answer.  I'm getting tired or it.
Sorry for the long ass blog but it's getting out of control and I'm not famous yet.

True but replace love with lust.  I've never been in love before but in lust a lot!

How You Are In Love

You fall in love quickly and easily. And very often.

You tend to give more than take in relationships.

You tend to get very attached when you're with someone. You want to see your love all the time.

You're secretly hoping your partner will change for you.

You are fickle and tend to fall out of love easily. You bounce from romance to romance.

Your Seduction Style: The Coquette

You are a pro at playing the age old game of hard to get.

Your flirting style runs hot and cold, giving just enough to keep them chasing you.

Independent and self-sufficient, you don't need any one person to make you compelte.

And that independence is exactly what makes people pursue you.

I worked on set as runner for the eviction shows. This involved 'filling in' for the rehearsals so that the presenter could practice interviews with the friends and families and also the evictees. I also prepared the rooms for friends and families of the people nominated and provided refreshments. What I brought to this job was the ability to be flexible, my physical prowess, fast thinking and problem solving.

I had a small role in a short film directed by Cyril Nri.  I spent two days on set and it proved to be very educational for me.  I had to learn to be patient as there is a lot of waiting around if you are in front of the camera.

I had a three week placement there.  For the first week and a half I help out with the pre-production of the film they were making at the time.  This involved writing up call sheets, sending faxes and proofreading letters.  For the last week and half I was a runner on set and also an extra.  I learned a lot about the hard work and preparation that goes into making a film and what you can do even with budgetary constraints.

Holmes Place Health Club Member Service Centre – 100 Aldersgate Street, London EC1A 4LX

I started out at Holmes Place is as a Member Service Representative.  This involves credit control (chasing members who are behind on their subscription fees), renewing subscriptions, and collecting missing bank details, liaising with the clubs in reference to members and putting memberships on a temporary hold.

The position I now hold in Holmes Place is administration support between Holmes Place and the external credit collection company (ARC Europe Ltd) they use when members are over 60 days in debt.  This involve completing daily payment reports that are sent by ARC, advising ARC if they are to stop chasing certain members for debt as requested by the clubs, send weekly debt reports to ARC and also help the clubs with any queries they have concerning a members debt.

The skills I have accrued from this job is familiarity with Mars software, reaching targets (both calls and monetary), my administration and spreadsheet skills and working in a sometimes high pressure environment.

May '05 to Present

Heathmill Multimedia - Northway House, High Road, Whetstone, N20 9LP

My employment here was temporary as I was maternity cover for this position.  I was the administrator for Financial Times sales campaign, it involved working with the in-house software (Profit), recording and sending delivery figures, sending out welcome letters, invoices, unpaid letters and setting up FT.Com users with their usernames and passwords.  I was also a customer service agent for the FT subscribers.  This job has enabled me to improve upon my IT, administration skills and over the phone people skills.

September '04 to May '05

The Advertising Firm - Penton Street, Islington, N1

I did field sales for N-Power.  This was for the Cobra Group.  It involved me going door to door selling cheaper gas and electricity supply to residential clients.  This job was huge learning curve for me as it increased my confidence when speaking to people and as training was provided in the morning and evenings I learned how to move ahead in the business world if that was my inclination.

March '04 to Sept '04

The Body Shop - The Floral Centre, 23 Long Acre, WC2E 9LD

Here I started out as a sales advisor and then moved up to 'Senior Sales' as my skills progressed.  As a 'Senior Sales' advisor I had to set the daily targets, open and close the store, bank the stores takings, stock taking and train new recruits.  I learned how to manage a team of people and the responsibility of running a store when the manager is not there.

I currently work for Holme Place at the Head Office and have done so since May last year.

I started out chasing debt on the phones now I have an administration role which is quite boring but it's cool becuase I make my own break times and I'm not under so much pressure and I get paid a bit more.

There are some people there that bug the shit out of me but that's typical for an office environment if I was a different type of black girl some people would be getting bitch slapped!

The best thing about the job is that Holmes Place is a gym chain (higher end apparently) so I get free use of the Holmes Place's around the country.  I go to the gym 4 times a week in the mornings and classes 3 times a week in the evening.  On Mondays it Spinning (on stationary bikes using different speeds and resisitence levels in accordane with the instructor), Tuesdays it Body Balance (a mixture of Tai Chi, Yoga and Pilates), Wednesdays i do Nike Rockstar (a street dance class but you know like the Nike adverts).  I'm not as fit as I would like to be but I'm getting there.

Ideally I would like to work in the media industry (televsion, film or marketing/pr) but it's really competetive and I feel I'm too old and am now paying rent and my own bills so can't afford to start from the bottom and work my way up.  But I will post my cv on here if anyone is willing to give me a proper job with a nice wage (£21,000 upwards).

If you have been on my page in the last few days I guess that you've noticed that I've been playing around with the layout.  The one I have right now will probably be the last one for a longtime.  But if anyone knows how to change the layout of the blog using code then message me as I would appriciate the help.

BTW it's my brother's 17th birhday today.  So Happy Birthday Nathan!  Lots of love from your big sister! :)
