Well well well, I never thought I ought to but I did. Did you? We've all finally finished the recordings and it's now up and down to you to grasp it how you do do. Lemme tell you some of my thoughts and ideas on the songs on a song by song basis. And so on.
Firstly THUNKED UP as this is the older of the four. My family had a holiday caravan that was static in a lush part of Oxford. I was living in Brum at the time with JOHNS ELEPHANT BAND so this metallic box was halfway between there and here in London.
It was frigging freezing and the caravan was the only one left of what used to be many as the site was closing in a few weeks time for good or bad for the generations of family who used to frequent it. So the music flowed out from the river and the previous times spent,it is sad at but grateful to a place.
"I sink 'till I'm sunk in the drink 'till I'm drunk but I think 'till I'm all thunked up".I think I was on the sauce a bit more back then. Lyrically it's not really connected.
"I skin up the skunk and it shrinks 'till its shrinks 'till its shrunk and I think 'till I'm all thunked up"was the original second half of the chorus. It was firstly recorded for PUCK DISCSwith the enigimatic LYNNE SYMMS running things. The studio was called See field with PAUL WATSON on the desk and beeping the horn.PAULA COX [THE BUSH THE TREE AND ME]sung backing vox providing a delightful underbelly and DARREN WOOD[JOHNS ELEPHANT BAND]playing drums. The drum track was primarily done for "SINGLE CRUMB"but we decided keep that track acousticky,so rather than chuck the drums into the never world I rejigged the song into it.
We couldn't really use skunky lyrically part for the new version because we shortened the newer chorus to make it more punchy apart from that the structure is more or less unchanged.Whilst rerecording at FRANCESCOS this song seemed to fit into place fairly quickly. I love the bendy base bits and the dark guitar undertones on the verses,if you listen into the second chorus you might be able to make LEE being drunk on backing vocal. Live wise it's a good song to tighten to and energise. Further comments on PROXIMA NOW,AQUA LUNA and WE ARE SPEAKERS will be put up soon as well as lyrics.

A swarm warms around my fuzzy head, which tingles my ears then pinches my arms and a kind of crystallized, maddening sound resounds around the radius of the cranium. Within picoseconds the implications filter upwards, numbing the sting and the meaninglessness. Music is a diamond we all own and share, not to sound too far out, mind...
I know there's hardly any 'left' left or any rights to keep for the sake of keeping, but music is the gemstone of one tone we all own above all aboves.
F.I.Y from the these points we stand: FEEL IT YOURSELF. Others can only interpret the prettiness or ugliness, so fuck-a-duck, puto pato, quack quack, bye bye - our demonstration comes soon.

It is the meaning of it all that is only half of what we think it is.
So what's new? How did I come to... you could count me now, so don't forget or get worked out by having to. We hope so we believe or begrudge others that don't. I must work now on what's occupying and occurring.
Should not we suppose that opposition to rhetorical answers leaves no room for the idea that there are such things as good and bad questions?? YES! By that I mean that any point; view historical, counter, pin or otherwise is hindered by a fucking preposterous, presupposed slant (note the word 'fucking') which is designed and delighted, in stopping the spread of more questions.
But my question simply is this: dya wanna come to me gig on the 25th?
Freer realms of freer dreams allow all to wallow in all that can be.

Hello one and all, and welcome into The Connect Shine...
What? When? How? Who? To me there are no such things as bad questions! So what?!... This will happen again, once it is written. The next one is seconds from now.
How can I tell this is really you?? Because, because, be cause... Be a cause, because intelligence is in telling/cementing a meaning and I want to tell you that the momentum is gathering around the ring around Imajim. So please, please be an effective cause and maybe we'll meet up in The Social club.
Who is this??? Your new muakarooni*. 'Til the next Connect Shine, 'Health and Happiness' to y'all!
PS. You know the world's a bit too fucked out when Harold Bishop is whispering death threats through chequered T-towels down the phone. Aaaarrrrhh!
