Billy Morrison will be the guest DJ at a new Rock night in West Hollywood tomorrow night. The club is at The Standard Hotel on Sunset Blvd and Billy will be spinning from 11.00pm onwards.

The more I do, the more I learn that time is our most valuable commodity. In my ideal world, I wouldn’t have to choose, or make decisions. But as we all know, it’s impossible to do everything....to be in three places at once (although we all try and pull that one off from time to time!). So with all three of the initial writers in Circus Diablo (Billy Duffy, Ricky Warwick and myself) being on opposite corners of the planet right now, we felt that we all should concentrate on what is in front of us, and come back together when the time is right. So Album Number Two will remain inside our heads for the time being. Mr Duffy can be seen throwing windmills on stage with The Cult, Mr Warwick is out on the road with his solo material, and I will be hitting the boards with Camp Freddy very shortly, and hitting the screen in a movie or two soon as well.

Circus Diablo will be warming up for 2008 with a show in Venice, CA and Billy Morrison will continue the party until the small hours after the band have played with a Rock DJ set. None of the band have the ability to be in two places at once, so due to The Cult, ROTS and The Almighty being busy and active, the decision has been made to continue Circus Diablo as a four piece. The band's frontman, Billy Morrison said "We all had a ton of fun writing and making that record, but it has proved impossible to commit to any serious plans with so many members being that busy. So much love and respect to the guys." Circus Diablo will write and record a second album during 2008 with the current line up of Morrison, Rob Patterson, Patrick Cornell and Charles Ruggiero.

First of all, we would like to give Wendybird a huge shout out for coming to the shows and taking some cool pics. Check em out in the 'Dec 07' photo album. And while I remember, you guys need to give Patrick Cornell some love cos he will be taking over from Brett Scallions in 08. Brett is deeply involved in being a new dad to Jagger, and has plans with ROTS, so with much love and respect, we will be moving forward with Patrick playing bass guitar. We had TONS of fun in 07 with Brett – he and Abby are beautiful friends – and we wish them much love and success next year. Happy birthday and see ya on Tuesday, Brett.

We also wanna say a HUGE THANK YOU to NGTV, who collaborated with Circus Diablo on the Loaded video success. Over ONE MILLION views, and it just got reposted, and has nearly another 500,000 – crazy stuff. They are part of the new web TV revolution and I hope we get to work together again in 08. Forward thinking, irreverent – and wonderful guys as well!! Respec' is due to Benji, Mr Shark Firestone and all at NGTV. And a big thanks goes out to our label Koch Records who did a wonderful job with our album and our first single Loaded. Scott, Chuck et al……niceness.

Now that all that is out the way, we can get on with 2008. We have started throwing riffs around through cyberspace, and I am collating them, organizing them, and putting the best ones into folders in my studio computer. Over the break, I think we'll see about three or four new Diablo songs start to take shape, and when we reconvene in January, we'll get some mixes together and start thinking about album number 2. But for now, from us to you all - HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

Circus Diablo finish out the year with two shows next week. On Wednesday December 12th, they open the show at The Gibson Amphitheater for Velvet Revolver and Alice In Chains. The band would like to thank everyone who supported them in their first full year. The album was released, the band toured, the single (LOADED) went Top 40 at Active Rock and the video for that song was the NUMBER ONE most viewed on YOUTUBE with over half a million views. Circus Diablo V2.0 will return in 2008 with a new album, a new single and video, and will continue to play live. Vive Le Diablo.

Circus Diablo will be playing at the Los Angeles House Of Blues on November 12th at a charity show to benefit the victims of the Southern California fires. The rock show, which is being put together by Anthony D'Amato will also feature performances by his band D'Amato, Warner Drive, Epokah and more to be announced. METAL SANAZ is hosting the evening and will be auctioning off an ESP guitar and other goodies on the night. Donations will be accepted at the venue. STOP PRESS: As you have probably all seen already, tomorrows Irvine show at the Verizon Amphitheater with Velvet Revolver and Alice In Chains has been postponed due to the Southern California fires. The date has been rescheduled for Wednesday December 12th at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles and Circus Diablo will be opening the evening. We will also be scheduling some regional club shows for this period so keep your eyes on the site for further details. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Malibu and San Diego.
