so what's wrong with people feeling the urge to judge my taste in music? at least i have taste, you fucks! i'm really fucking pissed with people approaching my like "Ew, you're listening to [insert name of band commonly regarded as one you'd better not tell anyone you like them]?" so i like Fall Out Boy, in fact i love this band. i listen to fucking Robbie Williams if i want - does this offend you? do i suck because i don't keep my guilty pleasures private? yea well, then i guess i suck! i'm comfortable with listening to a goddamn pop ballad and a Fantômas song right afterwards - oooh, i'm so daring. god, just fuck you, you arsefucking, elitist, pseudo indie/alternative fucks! oh and while i'm at it, fuck Universal Music Group too! because they don't allow the videos they put on youtube to be embedded elsewhere. does this make them lose money? as if they weren't raking in the fucking loot already. yea, capitalism is pretty gay, isn't it?

so a good friend of mine has this video games second hand store and i was hanging out there yesterday, as i often do. and some french guy came een and vanted games for 'eez Ataree... and me and my friend got the giggles. thankfully her boyfriend took care of the french customer because it took us a couple minutes to get ourselves together again. to clarify one thing: we're not girly girls, we like old video games and weird ass music. what the fuck is it about a single french guy that turns mid-twenty-geek-chicks into giggling 13yo's??? and a question in case any french speaking guy stumbles across this: isn't it a bit annoying that everywhere you go women break out into ravished giggles wherever you start talking? just a thought ;)

so there's this huge german tabloid, Bild. comparable to The Sun. and it features a daily column called Post von Wagner (eng.: mail from Wagner). i'm used to this column being extremely narrow minded, nationalist and conservative. but it has never been as racist as yesterday, when Mr Wagner seemed to find it necessary to share his thoughts on Barack Obama with his readers:

i feel old... during my nightshifts last week i had a lot of time to think and so my thoughts inevitably wandered to music and especially to Trivium and The Fall Of Troy - certain members of these bands are younger than i am and they are damn good - how can they be so good and so young at the same time??? i'm used to members of bands i like being at least in their mid-twenties, most of them older, some of them much older, some of them already dead. and now those *cough* youngsters ;) come along and i'm just growing older and what's this going to be like when i'm thirty??? I AM OLD!!!
