JUNGLE ROT sign to Napalm Records!


Wisconsin death metallers JUNGLE ROT have inked a deal with Austria's Napalm Records.
The band will enter Studio One in Racine, Wisconsin with longtime engineer Chris Djuricic on December 26th, 2008 to record their Napalm debut entitled "What Horrors Await".
The album is scheduled for a spring 2009 release, with subsequent touring to follow. Artwork for the release is being handled by Gyula Havancsák (Destruction, Annihilator, Grave Digger).

Whats up? Checking in with some new things going on in the JUNGLE ROT corps. We’ve been negotiating with labels and it’s going well. Pretty sure we’re locked in with one, but can’t make any official announcement until the deal is sealed. The new songs we’re writing have been coming together nicely, we’re having a blast with it and should have some fun stuff coming up. There is a possibility we might be releasing another DVD, either that or a DVD will be coming out with the new album. We’ll see how that one pans out. We’ve got many cool designs for shirts and such and we’ll be working on getting that together soon. Thanks to all the amazing artists that have contributed: Scott Jackson, Lou Rusconi, NEV, Hypnos, and The GOAT. See some of the designs in our pics section.

We are going to Europe very shortly for a tour with our buds in WARMASTER from Holland, whom we plan on tearing it up with every night!
Especially in Holland...

We regretfully inform you that JUNGLE ROT has had to pull out of the "Re-Animated" European tour with MASSACRE. This is due to gross mismanagement and miscommunication. There is just no way we can take the chance of going to Europe to get screwed and lose tons of money. The tour is month away and half the dates are booked. We never got our contracts. Our plane tickets were never purchased. We cannot afford to risk it at this time. We sincerely apologize to anyone effected by this decision, but we just can't get ourselves into a financial hole again.
