Coyote Ugly Saloon, the most famous bar on the planet, is opening in Moscow Russia, Coyote Ugly Saloon founder Liliana "Lil" Lovell announced today. The grand opening is scheduled for 9pm on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. The address is 6/3 Kuznetsky Most Street in downtown Moscow near Red Square.

"Wow. Moscow. I have to admit that when I opened the first Coyote Ugly Saloon in 1993 in New York I never dreamed that I'd be going to Moscow. I can't wait for opening night," commented Lovell.

Lovell, along with a group of her veteran Coyote bartenders from various Coyote Ugly locations in the United States, will be traveling to Moscow to train newly hired Coyote bartenders and of course to attend the November 11 grand opening.

The bartenders at Coyote Ugly serve a little bit of attitude with the drinks and are known for their dance routines on top of the bar. Lovell opened the first Coyote Ugly Saloon in New York's East Village in 1993. In 2000, the movie "Coyote Ugly", which was based on the New York Coyote Ugly Saloon, was released and went on to gross over $100M worldwide. In 2006 Country Music Television (CMT) broadcast the first of three seasons of the reality television series, The Ultimate Coyote Ugly Search, starring Ms. Lovell and her Coyote bartenders, and today there are 14 locations with more on the way.

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness, the Memphis bar is going pink for the month of October with "Coyotes Kicking Breast Cancer." The Coyotes will be selling pink paper cowboy boots for $1 all month long and posting them all over the bar! Pink shirts will be for sale in the retail shop, and bras will be auctioned off daily from behind our bar. All proceeds will go to breast cancer awareness.

KIX 106 FM will be at Coyote Ugly Memphis on Friday, October 30, for a live remote and auction of donated items, 9-11pm. All proceeds go to this great cause. D. Canale Beverages will also be on hand with big prizes and give-a-ways to add to the fun and excitement of the night.

The contest allows patrons to choose who they think is the best bartender in Tampa Bay. Voting for Round One is taking place now through June 4, and the top five finalists from that round will go on to Round Two at which time videos of the finalists will be available for viewing. Voting for Round Two will run from June 5 through June 21. The winning bartender will appear on the cover of tbt* and their bar will be featured in an article. Coyote Ugly Saloon, the most famous bar on the planet, is opening its next US location in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Coyote Ugly Saloon founder Liliana "Lil" Lovell announced today. The grand opening is scheduled for 9pm on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at the new bar located at 121 East California Avenue in the Bricktown Entertainment District. The general public is invited.

"Oklahoma City is a great fit for Coyote Ugly," Lovell said. "Bricktown has been on our radar for awhile now. With the arrival of the Thunder professional basketball team though, we felt the time was right. I look forward to many great years in Oklahoma City."

Lovell also announced the dates for the famous Coyote Search where talented, sexy and witty applicants are invited to tryout for limited Coyote bartending positions. The search will be held June 13 and 14, noon to 5pm in Oklahoma City at the 121 East California Avenue location. Applicants must be 21 years old or older.
