Subject: ZOIC Celebrates 15 Years; Returns to Outdoor Retailer Summer Market

SAN DIEGO, California (July 30th, 2008) – ZOIC Clothing, the cycling and outdoor clothing manufacturer, announced today it is celebrating its 15th Anniversary by returning to the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in the New Product Pavilion at the Energy Solutions Arena, booth ESA214. ZOIC will be showing the 15th Anniversary collection of men's and women's mountain bike and cycling apparel, along with its new entry in the outdoor category -- the men's and women's lifestyle focused Streetside collection, as well as the second generation Kidz collection.

Key to the ZOIC collection is the use of innovative and sustainable fabrics which were introduced in the 2008 collection and have expanded for 2009. Bamboo/cotton wovens and bamboo/polyester knits have been instrumental in the emergence of the brand. Design details also include the implementation of built-in IPod controls, MP3 pockets, ZOIC branded zippers, new contrast stitching, highly detailed embroideries, screen prints, raw edges, and the new 'Plaid Collection' which uses unique plaid fabrics to break away from black bottoms plaguing the cycling industry.

"From stylish new designs to the look and feel of innovative fabrics, our goal is to provide consumers with comfortable clothing that can be worn from pedals to pavement," said Eric Swenson, general manager. "We've constructed our clothing with purpose through functional features and fabrications. And through choosing and wearing ZOIC, we hope to inspire consumers to get more out of the environment while taking less from it.

The overwhelmingly positive response to the women's Streetside collection launched in 2008, led to the release of the men's collection this year. The Streetside collection is inspired by active men and women who may use their bike for more than just training rides: to the beach to surf, to yoga, out with their dog, or on a ride for the ever-present smile the bike brings to their face. The product is not about the bike, but about the person on the bike. The multi-functional use collection targets the consumer ZOIC has been striving to serve for years, and finds the right mix of style, color, fabrics, and fun to make it just right.

Also returning for 2009 is the 2nd generation Kidz collection, with boy's and girl's cycling clothing (ages 8-16) that looks exactly like what you want your kids to ride their bikes in. With shorts and knickers with fully removable padded liners, retailing from $40-$48, and bamboo/poly knit tops between $20-$45, ZOIC is inspiring the youth of our nation to look good while riding in adorable floral prints and race themed screen prints to make it all the more fun.

SAN DIEGO, California, August 20th, 2007 – ZOIC Clothing, the cycling and outdoor clothing manufacturer, today unveiled their Spring 2008 product line that renews their commitment to sustainability through the integration of recycled and renewable materials. Innovative fabrics added to the collection this year include recycled bamboo/polyester knits in performance jerseys and tees, recycled bamboo/cotton woven fabric for the shorts and knickers and 100 percent organic cotton tees.

"Going green" may be the buzz these days, but ZOIC has always had roots in the green scene, having been the first to produce Earth-friendly Sportwool jerseys and tees for example. "Sustainability isn't new to us", said Eric Swenson, General Manager, "but thankfully the market has started catching up, creating more opportunities for our designers and our followers."  This season ZOIC produced new knit fabrics for women's tees and jerseys using a 31 percent bamboo/69 percent polyester blend and used a 43 percent bamboo/57 percent polyester blend for men's tops.  The bamboo story continues into woven bottoms by using a 50 percent bamboo/50 percent cotton blend that enhances ZOIC's lifelong cotton program.

Integrating bamboo into the woven and knit pieces has numerous comfort, performance and environmental benefits:

¨       Bamboo fabric is softer than cotton with a texture similar to silk.

¨       Bamboo is a naturally antibacterial and hypoallergenic fabric.

¨       Bamboo fabric wicks away moisture and dries faster than cotton.

¨       Bamboo clothes can be worn all year round as they keep you cool in summer and warm in winter.

¨       Bamboo fabric protects against the sun with its natural UV protection.

¨       Bamboo is grown without the use of chemicals or pesticides.

¨       Bamboo is a fast growing and self replenishing plant that requires little water.

¨       Bamboo is also a symbol of friendship and resilience.

To highlight benefits of sustainability at point of purchase, ZOIC will be integrating an identifiable green "ee" symbol (environmentally enlightened) on all products using bamboo and other organic fabrics. Consumers will see this symbol on hangtags and throughout ZOIC's online store; retailers will also see the symbol in the Spring 2008 catalog. Swenson commented "Through choosing and wearing ZOIC, we hope to inspire consumers to get more out of the environment while taking less from it." In keeping with this green theme, recycled elements will be integrated within the architectural design of ZOIC's trade show booth at Interbike 2008. Stop by the ZOIC booth 3561 at Interbike, to see for yourself.

ZOIC was founded on the mountain biking trails of the Marin Headlands. The belief was that clothing plays an integral role in connecting you to the active outdoor experience. While technical performance is a necessary element for the connection, components such as color, fit, fabric and feel can enhance and bring it to the next level. Ultimately this experience evolves into a lifestyle, in which clothing becomes the defining and expressive representative. ZOIC's core purpose is to continually create outdoor clothing that embodies the elements of a quality lifestyle: performance, fun, comfort, simplicity, and aesthetics.
