The Half-Blood Princess is going to New York!

That's right, I am headed off to upstate NY to frolic in the forest for 8 weeks with summer camp kids!  Yay!  I will be reading Deathly Hallows in secret (since the campers can't get packages and therefore can't read the book when it comes out...a TRAVESTY!)  and plotting new songs when I return to my femputer in California.

After that, who knows, maybe Japan?  (She said knowingly...)

Oh My God! My femputer crashed...again! Arrrrgh!!!!!

In other news, I'm moving, so there will be little from me for a while, especially without my recording capability, which I was counting on for May...

This summer I will be in New York in the Adirondack Mountains...Then I will be off to Japan. That's right, I will soon be an international Wizard Rocker!

Well, here's hoping Dell can fix my femputer for real this time...

My femputer is in a coma. All the juicy and creative material I have been working on has been put on hold until it can be sent away to be cared for, and subsequently returned lucious and operational. Boo.

So, I have had this terrible cough for a long time...but I am on the mend. And that means I can get working with my new recording equipment! Yay! Needless to say, I am excited. Once I can dive into that, I can actually think about an album. Won't that be fun?

Today was a very musical day.  I wrote and recorded two Harry Potter related songs.  Yay!

The first, called "Wedding Toast" is about James and Lily.

The second...well, let's just say it's wandalicious.

I was thinking of putting together an LP album, just for kicks.  So we'll see what develops.

So I went to see The Remus Lupins and HCX at BBKings...awesome...actually so were the other bands there (honestly I was late, stupid parking at the citywalk, so I only saw Last Page First and The Good Cheer...but rad anyway).

I also met some cool people (who made me miss Northern California), so that was fun too...plotting Wizardpalooza with the Slythendors...(insert wicked laughter here).

And in other news, I am working on some new material.  I recorded two new songs...one about the DA, which is actually upbeat, can you believe it?!?  And another lament, but this time from the perspective of Tonks sung to Remus...heavy.  Coming soon, I promise.
