Evening everybody! We are putting out a call for some help tonight. We are fed up with band sites filled with ads about getting ripped in 4 weeks or “cartooning” yourself. We are looking for an awesome fan to build us an awesome website. We want to keep it simple but classy. If you help us out and we use what you come up with, we’ll guest list you whenever you want to come see us! So if you think you can make this dream come true for us, email us at

youmeandeveryoneweknow@gmail.com .

Thanks so much for your help!

Good afternoon everyone. I hope that this message is reaching all of you in good spirits. I recently received some very unfortunate news. I found a few days ago that Mojoe's in Tinley Park, Illinois is going to be closing down in December. Marc and his venue, along with the fans and friends at the shows we've played there have been this band's salvation a countless number of times. Whatever was standing in our way on tour, be it vehicle trouble or any number of the unforseen disasters we've faced previously, we always knew that if we could make it to Mojoe's we could all make it home. I'm writing this today to announce that we're going to be playing one last show at Mojoe's before it closes its doors for good. It's the closest thing to a hometown venue this band has ever had, so if you support this band please come out. Here is everything you need to know:

When: December 4th, 2009 at 6 PM
Where: Mojoe's Rockhouse @ 15750 South Harlem Avenue, Orland Park, IL 60467
Who:You, Me, and Everyone We Know, The Fastest Kid Alive, A Kidnap in Color, Made Avail, and Love Me Electric

So that's it for today. TELL YOUR FRIENDS. TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS. We'll see you in a few weeks.

Before we get to the update, i just want to say something: This band has never been faced with an obstacle that it did not overcome. Nothing has ever prevented this band from continuing to write quality, heartfelt, passionate music. I'm sick more than i'm well, i've been arrested, our van has burned down, our touring lineup has changed inconveniently at times and NONE of this has prevented us from continuing as a band and putting on a show that people don't forget and come back to see again and again. This perseverance, determination, and worth ethic will never be extinguished. Update: We're recording new music over the next three weeks. We're going to be pretty in your faces between now and the end of the year. We're also hoping to start touring again in February.

If you're reading this on tumblr, then you definitely aren't busy. Do this:

1. Go here: http://altpress.com/surveys/aptour2010.htm
2. Tell Alternative Press you want to see you, me, and everyone we know on their spring tour. We're all sick of the same bands touring together, now it's time to do something about it!
3. Reblog this. Please. Thank you. Have a lovely day.

News and an update in one week...

Current mood:  bouncy
If I were to tell you I'm fully clothed right now, I would be lying. Quite literally, actually, because I'm still in bed. I played a very quick game of risk last night. If you know anything about said game then you know I lost badly. I'm rambling...

I just wanted to drop in and say thanks to everyone that helped make our stint on warped tour such a wild success. We had big fun playing for you, it was awesome to see so many new faces in places we've been before and just as awesome to see so many of you in places we had not. Great Stuff!

Also, I didn't think we would be doing anymore touring this year but two things happened:
1. Writing has been going very smoothly, I'm very excited to share my ideas with the guys.
2. We heard about a really sweet tour.

So, we're going to be touring for a bit at the end of October. With who? Announcement soon.

Thanks

Starting on thursday we're going to be starting a ten day run with Warped Tour on the Kevin Says Stage. We wanted to make sure you survive the day and maximize your warped tour with you, me, and everyone we know experience, so here are a few hints:

1. Follow us on twitter: We've been getting alot of messages asking us what time we are playing on our stage on whatever given day, but bands don't find out until about an hour before the gates open each day. Sometimes, the kevin says stage isn't even posted on the giant inflatable wall. So, the fastest and most sure-fire way of knowing when we play is by following us on twitter. You'll also be able to find out if we're doing any signings that day and where we are as we wander through the masses of the sunburned. Go here, make it happen:

(Ben) www.twitter.com/electricthroat
(Rico) www.twitter.com/visforvig

2. Plan Ahead: It's hot, so bring sunscreen. Buy water. If you forget sunscreen, come talk to us. We know they take your bottle caps when you buy water, but we've been stocking up so come see us and we'll see if we can get you a bottle cap. Fuck the man.

3. Get some limited edition shit: We've got some special treats for you at this year's warped tour. For the first time ever, we are going to have pressed copies of our 2nd EP "So Young, So Insane". It's only $5 and you can't get it anywhere else! We are also bringing along two brand new t shirt designs, that will are only available for sale at this year's warped tour! After which they will only be available online in our brand new online merchstore....

4. I almost forgot, we have a BRAND NEW ONLINE STORE!!!: That's right! We've teamed up with the great people at Hello, Merch to bring you a new online store, featuring everything we sell on tour and a bunch of stuff you can't get anywhere else. Click HERE and get a sneak peak at the shirts we're going to be bringing with us for warped tour.

Beyond that, we're going to have a ton of updates, pictures, videos and allll sorts of neat shit for your eyes if you can't make it out. We suggest you come be a part of the fun this year. Head to our calendar for all of our warped tour dates, buy your tickets at www.warpedtour.com and be sure to come say hello! We'll see you so soon!

When i found out i had bronchitis, i was ordered to get plenty of bedrest and fluids. So, for the last few weeks i've been laying around watching every movie imaginable and getting up to pee once every hour or so. Hydration will apparently lead me to the promise land. The movies were great for a while, but i eventually got tired of that so i turned to all of the various blogs for boredom i.e. textsfromlastnight, lookatthisfuckinghipster, failblog...you know typical "should be working" internet material. After losing interest in that, i decided to go with the ever popular googling of my own name. Typical stuff came up relative to the band, but i found unexpectedly were many a show review where i was perceived to be drunk on stage. It got me thinking about the many times i've gotten people commenting on the same thing after shows:

"Dude that was awesome!! how are you feeling? You looked so wasted up there"

"Hey i know you're really fucked up right now, but could i have a picture real quick?"

"I liked it, but maybe you should drink less before you play"

At this point, i just really want to clear the air about all of this business. No, i'm not drunk on stage. I will have a drink or two sometimes, but if you know me at all then you know it takes far more than that to get me to where some people suspect i am. I can count on one hand the number of times i was drunk onstage. One was at Plano Centre during our Forgive Durden Tour (sorry i was going through some life difficulties) and the rest were all before we ever had music for anyone to actually listen to.
Look, i'm not your typical "one leg on a monitor, sweeping my hair to the side occasionally" front man. I get really into our music when we perform. I break a sweat, i move around, i leave it all onstage. I'm sure most of you enjoy what we do and how we do it onstage, but i just wanted to clear things up for everyone that might be a little confused about my state while we perform. One last time, no i am not drunk. Intesity, james bond, loger moore.
