Ive been thinking about this for a long time.
Ive been working my ass off trying to get this music thing jumping off. Its hard work. Very hard work. Im taking nothing but losses if I subtract my expenses from sales. I aint making shit! But to me its worth it. Ya know. This is my dream and this is what I've been wanting to do since I snuck and listened to my uncles tapes. (Couldnt listen cause they had curse words

).
But on some real stuff, getting in the the "industry" is no cakewalk. And from trail and error I've come up with this theory, there are two kinds or industrys in the music game. Underground Industry and Mainstream Industry.
Both of them come with fame, money and all that other stuff. Of course the mainstreamer make tons of money. But, to a dude like me, undeground money is PERFECT!!
But in order to get to mainstream industry, you gotta break into the underground industry. And thats real talk! I mean when the mainstreamers sign a local cat, he aint no average dude u never heard of getting signed. They signing the underground industry cats. Dudes that get mad love on the streets and you can hear they stuff banging in the hoods (E 7 Mile stand up!).
So my guess is that I KNOW Ive got good music. But, that aint enough. Before I get the millions, I gotta get them tens of thousands first. I gotta break into the local scene. If locals dont know me, can I call myself undeground? I mean they know STLs, they know K-Doe, they know Tone-Tone.
I mean the industry is already a beast. But now I gotta break into the underground in order to even be considered.
Im sure yall can help me with that. Im a 500 plays on my songs now. And im sure its gonna double with yalls support.
Im not in this for the money. I make good music. I wanna be reconized. Now let me get to sleep, I still work my 9to5 ya know!
