It was a great night! Some of my favorites: the naughty etch-a-sketch, the slinky, both my little ponies, and dress up.
Award for going all out: Papa smurf, who shaved much of his body to create the right supple hue!
Award for biggest spirit: The barrel of monkees, who refused for quite some time to get out of the barrel regardless as to if one of them needed a drink or needed to go to the bathroom.
Award for the best dance moves: a tie for the rubik's cube /simon dance off.
Don't forget the Seattle GMP "World Leaders' Party on Feb 16th. http://www.gmpseattle.com/. If anyone wants to caravan.carpool contact peterbelfanti@yahoo.com aka Papa Smurf.
And, of course, the Urban Inditarod on March 1st. GMP has already signed up and our cart will be "celebrity trainwreck". You should sign up too: www.KeepPortlandWeird.org/urbaniditarod/

Gear up for the super bowl by getting in touch with your inner child. Remember the days where you could spend all day pressing flashing lights names simon... or when hanging out with your friend betsy and she was supposed to wet her pants...or when you could spend all day as ewoks vs. care bears.
Well it is time to clean out that closet, find your favorite childhood toy, and recreate it into an adult sized costume. I would love to see a naughty rainbrow bright, or find out if GI Joe's package really is made out of plastic.
Also, there is a plan to cause a little more of a ruckus than normal. But it is a secret until the event. If you could bring some cheapo toys that would make good prizes to give out that would be swell. Please, somebody bring some chinese handcuffs.
Spread the word, and see you there!

Saturday, October 6th 10 pm Get ready for our next outing. Unfortunately summer is coming to a close... did we have a real summer anyway? Well, the beginning of the school year is giving us yet another excuse to dress in costume again. Yes, I know that this event should happen in september... but let's think back to a movie fave and realize it's no biggie... Mr. Hand: What is this fascination with truancy? What is it that gets inside of your heads? There are some teachers at this school who look the other way at truants. It's a little game you both play. They pretend they don't see you, and you pretend you don't ditch! Now, in the end, who pays the price? YOU! [Desmond re-enters; Spicoli follows him. He has a bagel stuffed into crotch; with open shirt, barefoot, holding Vans] Jeff Spicoli: [Desmond re-enters; Spicoli follows with bagel stuffed into crotch; with open shirt, barefoot, holding Vans] Wait a minute, there's no birthday party for me here! Hello, Mr. Hand. so get your school uniform on, or your sports team jersey. Dust off your lettermans jacket, and your cap and gown. show up as a giant eraser, the principal from Grease, Ferris Bueller, a bill on capital hill, or any after school special. And as always, the location will remain a secret until a week prior to the event. It is always more fun when we are a surprise.

Details and ideas: With Summer finally here we find ourselves thinking back to those rainy days of winter, but more importantly of holidays and days off work. Summer is definitely a great time of the year, second only to the winter holidays with drinking, eating, good friends and merriment. With that in mind, it seems like a good time for all us Guerrillas to celebrate
CHRISTMAS IN JULY!
Come celebrate with the rest of the GMP gang on Saturday, July 21st at 10pm!
This is your chance to wear all those great christmas sweaters that you thought belonged only in the bottom of your closet or at Goodwill. Or better yet, decorate yourself as a tree. Bonus points for figuring out how to light yourself up.
Be the star of your favorite holiday movie. Dennis, the dentist elf... the abominable snowman...ralphie in the bunny pajamas.
Perhaps organize your friends and become a dysfuntional family dinner. Or be cranky uncle scrooge.

Hello Guerillas!
Thanks to everyone who came out last night. Maiden in the Mist was a great host to our Under the Sea event. Next time we will go somewhere a little larger, but how could we have resisted the siren song of the Maiden!
Check out the pics from the event: http://www.flickr.com/photos/7979170@N08/
If anyone else has any great pics please send them to us.
Yours, GMP
