Hello Snappafreaks! We just wanted to thank everyone who showed up at Barney McNabbs Saturday night...the place was jam packed with many new faces and the Snappa faithful. It was a rockin night! Special thanks to the Suburbia Roller Derby Girls who came out to party with us and feed us all shots! This would never be as much fun as it is without all our fans and friends! Give yourselves a FUCK YEAH!
We hope you all join us Saturday, April 18th at The Roadhouse, on Lockwood Ave in Yonkers....lets keep the party going!

This past Sunday, we had the honor of playing at The Celebration of the Life of Tommy Star...and what an amazing day it turned out to be. Tommy was a great friend of ours, who's life was taken from us way too soon.  So many people were affected by his passing, and it seems that each and every one of then showed up on Sunday to honor his memory, and raise money for charity.

First off, we could not have asked for better weather. The day was absolutely gorgeous, and allowed all the bands to play outside on the back deck of Dudleys. The crowd was great...everyone was really into the spirit of the day.  There was lots of old pictures of Tommy hangin through the years, as well as a couple of collages of old Wretched Whore pics, courtesy of his bandmate, Wretched Andy...thanks Andy...it was great to see all of that stuff! We would also like to thank all of our friends and family who cooked, baked, worked the door, etc....you all did a great job! And a special thanks to Dudleys and their great staff for donating the space and the time!

We were fortunate enough to have alot of great musicians sharing the day with us...Thank You to Night Shift and Captain Charisma and the Groove Machine, as well as Mikey D, Charlie Sabin, Meredith Buono, Gabriella, Mike McEwan, JD, Jim Pope, and anyone else we may have forgotten...you were all amazing! We would play with any of you at any time! And a special thanks to Tommy's nephew. Rocco Campanelli...this boy got up there in front of about 250 people, played guitar and sang an original song of his in memory of his uncle...Rocco, it was beautiful, and we could not have been more impressed!

Because of the great generosity of all of you, we raised over $7000...the money will be split between the National Multiple Sclerosis society, and The American Lung Association. We have been in touch with Tommy's family, and they wanted us to let you know how much you all touched them. They truly felt this event honored Tommy's memory in a great way.

Thank again to all who were involved in a very special day...Lets make it an annual thing, and raise even more next year!

               Love Ya Guys!!!!!!!!!
