It has been wonderful getting back into playing live music. It's been a good 3 years since I had a steady music gig. Back then, I was playing with
Darren Curtis Skanson around Colorado at the premier arts festivals in the state, in great locales like Breckenridge, Boulder, and even a few natural ampitheaters around the state.
Now in California, I'm just getting back into the live music scene. Impromptu tango orchestras, blues and bluegrass jams, and several studio appearances as a session violinist.
The new album The Outsider is released on Monday Sept 10th at
cdbaby.com/cd/chancesend2. I'm very proud of it - just like I was with
Set Me Free. This time, however, the violin dominates the productions just like everyone I talked to would always suggest to me. I'm working on live arrangements of the tracks from both albums, so that I can bring the music to people in other settings. I'll be sure to let everyone know when any events are scheduled.
