The release of "Petty Lies & Lullabies" is nearing its final weeks and will be out before you know it! The wait WILL be well worth it! We also have plans for a tour this fall so keep checkin back for possible tour dates closest to you!!

We got out of recording Monday night, and everything should be mastered within the week. Our new music is going to be amazing, so buying the cd will be a good investment. Soon we should be able to know a better release date for the album. Stay tuned!

The Primary Lines - the story

Long long ago we were a band called Static View.  Music improved dramaticly and Adam came.  We were a completly different band.  So we decided to change the name.

"The Fall Out Effect" is the name we all come to know and love.  then one day while we were in are "multiple drummer" phase,  Someone showed us a band called "Fall out Boy".  We were not worried about their band name but they got famous quick.

Since then, we played shows and every show we went to.  People would ask us to play fall out boy(we can play their songs better live than they can), or tell us that our name sounds to much like fallout boy.

I personally like "the fall out effect" better but the name needed to be changed.

       Last night marks I think our seventh week of weekend shows in a row and we are jamming stronger than ever. Jamming out on the road is awesome as all hell and we are meeting some kick ass people. We are gonna take a second to thank Keenan for all the shit he did for us last night down in Illinoise,  and for fuckin having a sweet ass party afterwords!! Rock on man! We're also looking forward to the release of our debut cd which will be this summer!! Everyone look our for it, it will blow your minds.........hopefully. Until next time.

well guys, we did it!!!! We are now signed and were gonna hit shows harder than ever.  we played a little show in "Natt and Wally's Fishbowl" in Ohio, and I'd say it went damn well!  Um.... We will have CD's which you can buy from us, and other merch like T-shirts and shit like that. We are signed with Glass Manacle Records, they are on myspace so check them out and show'em some love. Now we can finaly call jammin' a part-time job!!!

We just wanted to let everyone know that we will be playing a good bit of shows out at java jims in the near future. jim and the entire staff over there have been extremely pleasent to work with and we all enjoy it over there. we are working on about six or seven gigs there within the next few months. so for everyone that has been wanting to see us jam out there this is now the time!!! we'll see you all at the show!!

We went to the studio this weekend, and I'm happy to say that recording for "Redefined" is over. I think all of us are a little tired of our respective instruments (except maybe Bruce who flew through it), and we're ready to hear the final mix. The songs are going to sound amazing, and I think anyone who liked us before is going to love us 10x more. The cd will be finished within a week or so, and you can hear it first right here on myspace. Keep an eye out for it!
