Some fool agreed to allow us back on stage tonight. All of you make your way to the Rock Stage in Ta Qali, we are starting at 11pm. If we don't see every single one of you, there will be bloodshed. We also know where you live :)

Hey, the blog entries are back... a pseudo-resurrection if you will, and on easter sunday of all days

Hope you've all had a good one, our friends have reached 300 (though our manager will be quick to point out that he's amassed over 2000 friends on our hi5 site http://scarmaltasno1.hi5.com) and we've been featured on the PRS Guitar website, which is quite cool considering we are featured alongside such luminaries as Santana... point your mouse in this direction and .... click http://www.prsguitars.com/artists/scar/index.html.

a few good shows coming up, and as always we will keep you informed... hope to see ya shaking booty at BJ's this coming Friday 13th... we are meant to be starting at 10pm and will be playing a selection of songs from the old album and hopefully if we can get our act together some songs from the upcoming album.

On the occasion of our 200th friend we decided to let you know what each of our top 5 albums of all time are. Our musical tastes can be near polar opposites to each other and probably our top 5 lists will show that. 

These are what we consider masterpiece albums and aren't necessarily our current influences or even our major influences... maybe when we reach 2000 friends we'll do another one of these and let you know what those are!!! .

Just like to say thank you to everyone for all the comments and well-wishers in the last few days... we were incredibly surprised at the flood of support and encouragement received... it really doesn't matter were we placed "as long as we know" we have you guys  *blushing*

Just to keep you in touch with what we're up to, we are working behind the scenes to get back in the studio and continue recording. We are ever so determined to get this done by summer as we've been quiet for far too long and it was always our intention to use this event as a stepping stone... and believe us we can't wait to get back onto another stage. We'll keep you posted!

Hello there and ho, ho, ho

haven't been updating for a while but I've been busy adding friends to the site as we've surpassed the 100 mark and counting (I know it's not THAT many but if we were in a sinking ship I'd like to think there are 100 people out there who'd throw us a rope!) Anyway, so I'm happy...

Swiftly moving on....

It's been a busy few weeks and thankfully there are many more to follow. The BMA's were great fun and we got to the final of the MSFE competition. It's not that we have any aspirations to becoming europoppers but we felt that after last year's patheticness (excuse the neologism) we'd put our foot in, offer something decent and show 'em how it's meant to be done (well we think so anyway).

Plans for the second album are simmering nicely and if we have our way with the producer we'll be able to get it done by next summer, the release of which will also compel us to get off our fat arses and play a few live shows... anyhoo we'll keep you fully updated on all and sundry

so till then have yourselves a very merry christmas and indulge in all things bad for you, it's Christmas after all! and if anyone says otherwise, tell 'em Scar said so!
