Join Shiv today around 2:30pm eastern when he welcomes Jeffrey Roesgen and Bob Gendron into the studio to chat about their contributions to Continuum's terrific 33 1/3 book series.

Shiv is a huge fan of these books and buys a new one just about every time he's over at Shake It Records.

Cincinnati's own Jeffrey Roesgen has chosen The Pogues' Rum, Sodomy and the Lash for his entry into the series.

Chicago-based Bob Gendron has written about a Cincinnati classic: the Afghan Whigs' Gentlemen.

Both authors will chat a bit about why they chose these albums to write about and we'll play some songs from each.

Locally, Jeffrey and Bob will host a book release party and reading over at Shake It Records on Saturday, September 20th at 5pm.

Current mood:  excited
Did you miss any of the 22 amazing live sessions we hosted at EAR Studios in Austin earlier this month? Never fear, the archives are posted now and ready for your ears.

There is free downloadable audio for all 22 performances. We’ve also got a few video clips posted so far with a LOT more to come. If that isn’t enough, there are links to our Flickr account with cool photos from each session.

Check out the WOXY.COM SXSW 2008 Archives for over 11 hours of (free!) great music live from Austin!
