My interests in books and music have recently come together in a very exciting way.
MoonLiner Books (in collaboration with Heavenly Monkey Editions) will be releasing a limited edition book of poetry by one of my all time favorite musicians and composers, Harold Budd.

So, Myspace has this great new feature where you can type an actual greeting to people you want to be friends with.... pretty civilized don't you think? Now when you want to send an invite you can actually say something friendly... just like you would if you met someone on the street and wanted to start a conversation and possible friendship with them!
Personally I can't understand why people don't use this opportunity to say hi and give a short reason why they'd like to be friends. Sadly, it makes me feel like you are just out harvesting as many friends as you can when you don't say anything! It hardly takes any time at all and it's really polite and nice.
This feature is especially nice for those of you who have private profiles and want to be friends.
