During our live shows, we blend original material and newly-minted remixes into our dj sets. We just posted two prepared for our most recent show: 1) A remix of the song "Cubicle" by Rhinocerose [shouts to kribs and b for the selecta knowledge!] We smashed it like a idaho potato by replaying the guitar lines and splicing them into some Sergio M. percussion with some latin horns. 2) is the Mavado track "Weh Dem Do" reworked over a chopped We are the Robots break.

Enjoy! Please download and pass along!

CYYYYYYYKE!....you think we went all the way to Brooklyn for a dead show. Thanks to everyone who came out...its was slam packed from 1030 to 3 am....people actually left cause it was just packed to the gills...

Discolobos presents "Sardine Factory" - the new, ultra packed party...where girating in place is considered dancing. haha...

Thanks to everyone again and especially those of you who helped us spread flyers. Code-d and Evan did a massive job running the back room and killed it with a dope set of reggae / dancehall all night. Rick Rude came down and ripped 15 minutes of freestlye. Giant Panda rocked the front room, blazed it up and then went to the airport to fly to Jamaica...them's some rude boys.

Thanks Again--- as always Discolobos - the humble DJ's twerkin' yo ass on the dance floor!

Current mood:Medium Plain
Come through with the crew and bust you....
Wagun left his kids crying and dashed to NYC to shoot press and cover photos.

Shot at the prestigious Josh Scott Photo Studio in the Lower East Side. JSPS is one of the only studios in the city to offer a full-size Queen bed, an empty fridge, potted pot plant and Jim Beam. It also has a recording booth in the kitchen next to the stove and DJ setup in the hallway / living room. All guarded by the landlord's dog known only as, "Doggy Crazy."

The Thieves' Machine album comes out as a digital release (ITunes, Napster, Rhapsody, etc.) this summer with a CD and 12" to follow. All thanks to the great folks at Ten12 Records.

New Level Orchestrations Baby!
