Yeah, that was us on History Channel's "History of the Joke" last night. If you tuned in 1 hour and 20 minutes into the 2-hour special, you would have seen Hero Style in three seconds of kick-ass B-roll in which Mike raises and waves his arm and Joe laughs at something. Hero Style is listed in the credits, which we assume now entitles us to an IMDB page.

So much more to tell you, but we gotta go. Our phones are ringing. You know who's calling? Every fucking producer in the world. And they all want to meet with us "yesterday."

Cocaine, here we come.

Thank you, History Channel!

Mike and Joe made appearances -- ever-so briefly -- in Kelly's new music video "Let Me Borrow That Top."

Catch Mike as a student in a pink shirt in the bleachers at 05:39, 05:44, 05:49.

Catch Joe as a teacher with a silver coffee mug at 05:40, 5:50.

They also are dead on the floor at the end at 06:28.

We came. We saw. We threw our bloody red testicles around the UCB stage.

Good times.

We played a VERY cool gig Saturday night at McCabe's Guitar Shop in Santa Monica.

Mike and I opened for Sebastian Clark, a very talented musician whom we're lucky to call our friend. This was our first show in front of a non-comedy audience and it was awesome. They got our jokes and dug our crazy songs. We look forward to playing more rock clubs in the future.

Thanks to Sebastian and McCabe's for a great night.

Special thanks to the three fine individuals who helped us raise an additional $38 at Saturday's show during our props auction. Your money will be sent directly to the MS Society, and you will always have a hallowed place in Hero Style's Pantheon of Heroes, which we just made up right now.

Jenny, DeArtiste and the guy Angela came with whose name we don't know - we salute you!

The Sat., April 7 Hero Style show has been postponed. Half of our two-man cast was sick in bed earlier this week, unable to rehearse, and the other half of the cast was sick in bed later in the week, unable to rehearse. (No, it wasn't the same bed. You sick-oes. Hero Style sleeps in bunks. And, no, there's nothing weird about that.)

Because we do so much original material, rehearsal time is integral to the quality of our show and a wicked combination of cold and fever kept us from getting the show to the point where it was ready to be performed for our adoring public.

The good news:

- If you want to celebrate Easter weekend with some good 'ol improv, come on down to Westside Eclectic this Saturday night at 9:30 PM to see my long-form improv team Pangea. We are going to perform with another great team I'm on - Lemonball. We will provide free beer and snacks.*

* By snacks we mean more free beer.

- We already have rescheduled the Hero Style show for Sat. April 21 @ 9:30 PM. It is going to be FUNNY. Part of the torture of making the decision to postpone was knowing how great the show is and that we will have to wait

another few weeks to perform it.

Thanks for rolling with the punches.

Best,

Joe

Friends,

Saturday, April 7 is your last chance to see Hero Style's one-hour music
and sketch charity show at Westside Eclectic. The show is at 9:30 PM and
you can get directions, parking and ticket info here:

http://www.westsideeclectic.com

The theme for this one is Global Warming and the title of the show is "The
Snake Annoyer." We'll have an all-new song - "The Angry Canadian" - an old
classic back by popular demand and new scenes.

We also have a special raffle for our charity partner, the Multiple
Sclerosis Society. A portion of the proceeds from the show will go for our
participation in the MS Walk in late April.

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported our run of four new
hour-long sketch shows in five months. It's been an awesome ride.

We'll be back with a new show soon!
