It is with a heavy heart our bass player for Chick Flick, Mandy Skene will stretch her four strings in a new musical direction with her departure from Chick Flick. We wish her all the best in her new musical endevours, I'm sure you'll do us all proud, thanks for all the good times Mandy.

So with a new bass playery ou'll see another turn to the Chick Flick rollercoaster of rockin' roll. With more gigs in the works and tunes to rock your socks that are on your feet or in your pants be sure to return for more updates. Stay in tune oh yeah!

1.  Nasty Girl - from first EP Sneak Preview,  appearing in   
     independent  aussie film 'Crooked Business' in cinemas
     from 16 October 2008.

2.  Amaze me - current EP Ladder 69 as seen also in one of
     our youtube videos.

Yes Rockers, Chick Flick recorded a special 1 hour live show just for you that will be broadcasted on 4zzz Live and Local program 102.1 FM from 6pm this Sunday 21 September.   The chicks are giving their rockin best with originals and a suprise tribute to one of the greatest rock bands every known!  Not to be missed!

Just to let you know Chick Flick are still through to the regional finals however they will now be held on Saturday 27 Sept at Kitty O'Sheas Irish Bar on Caxton Street.   Chick Flick are aiming to hit hard to go through to the National Finals however, we still need you to come along and vote.  50% of our judges final score comes from your votes,  yes this means you.  You can be our rock stars for a change by voting us through!   See you on the 27th.!

Chick Flick conquered first place in the battle of the bands yesterday moving straight into the regional final that will be held on 31 August 08 at the Red Room (UQ Uni, St Lucia) at 2pm.

Winners of the regional final will then move into the National finals in Sydney on 3 November. For Chick Flick to be in for a chance we need your help!!! Be sure to come down on the 31 August 08 to be apart of the vote to get Chick Flick to the regionals.
