Hey,
studio start slightly delayed but is going ahead a week late! so the album starts here soon.
anyway since our success on Demonfort radio Demon fm-hope to be able to put up some tracks soon from that! - thanks Ioana!
More Radio- Burst are playing us-this is the new station at Brighton Uni and we are trying to sort out an appearance there-which will be great!
Then what do you know Rob and Jim pop up and say can they play the tracks on their show http://robandjimradio.podbean.com which is here and going out on Wednesday night 9pm!
So if your at Demonfort - tune in they still play us a lot there! or you can pick up Demon fm!
if your at Brighton check out Burst-make them play us alot there!
if your on the net-and you wouldnt be reading this if you wernt-check out the robandjimradio! get them to play a lot of Dry Riser too!
big thanks to you all!

So we are about to play a gig for Camden Calling at the Enterprise in Chalk Farm road in aid of the homeless of Camden-that could be the last chance to see us this year-maybe one more time-still waiting on a confirmation! Then its into the Studio finish the album and shoot a video! more on this later as we define the dates and timings. so you know - we are music fans too-V went off to see the mighty Muse at the 02 and hasnt stopped talking about it since. A stunning audio and visual feast he said? i think it was good is what he is trying to say,we hope soon to have some live material to put up from the Uni radio show and its looks like we are booking another one soon,so a day off from recording and filming to do some radio sounds good! keep you up to date -maybe do a diary entry on the progress -if your interested ?

TWO MANY CHIEFS- Dry Riser-buy the EP
Myself-From the “Two many Chiefs” EP –Dry Riser Well crafted indie with a near-flamenco flourish added to the structure, the ska-like off beat drawing you in before those honey drenched vocals plant themselves firmly in your subconscious – hypnotically beautiful… Subba-Culture SNAP OF THE DAY: DRY RISER Dry Riser's recently self-release EP, 'Two Many Chiefs' features four tracks that show off their great skills as songwriters. The acoustic guitar-driven songs have elements of Johnny Cash, Jeff Buckley and maybe some of Soundgarden's quieter moments. Check these guys out now-CMU All 4 Tracks are masterpieces and are a window into the bright future of Dry Riser. Influences of post rock masters; Radiohead can be heard within their music, but none more so than in the excellent vocals from Nik Ledgard. The opening track Myself could have been written by Thom Yorke. The title track changes up the mood shifting towards more of an acoustic: electro number, adding electrified vocals and sharp, punchy rhythm. Rushing brings in slower, clean guitar melodies and lets Nik Ledgards perfect vocals shine above the mix. We hope to hear more from Dry Riser soon. The Gig Guide.
