The moment all five of you have been waiting for is finally here! Our newest EP, which we've been working on since July, is complete.

Tragically Inconvenient, with seven songs totaling just over 28 minutes of unrestrained, unconventional metal, is available for free at all of our shows.

We went and did the 'Pompous Band Photos' thing last weekend.  Always a fun proposition when you do that in public places.  Must be Chef and his traffic-stopping Taliban face muff, because I can't imagine otherwise what would cause all the honking and swerving and burned rubber smells.

Marty climbed rusted metal like one of those cymbal-banging monkeys on a day off, we posed in front of huge wood, did embarrassing things with our various boobs and discovered that Christopher is a supermodel.  Seriously - check his shit out!  I expected Tyra to appear at any second to tell me how dumb I was standing and that I should watch Chris.

Needless to say (then why am I saying it?), we got the pix done.  More to come, but for now check out our Photo section and tell us which is your favorite!

We go on around 9pm at BOTH shows. We hope to see you there!

We need another guitarist! Voidcrush has almost always been a two-guitar band, but we've been making do with one for the last few months. We need our full sound back!

We're currently writing new music and would love to have a second guitarist involved.

Requirements:

1. You must be 21 or older.

2. You must own all of your own equipment, and it must be in good condition (no borrowing shit from your friends).

3. You must know how to get a good sound from your equipment. Shitty tone will not be tolerated!

4. You must have your own transportation, and be able to transport all of your own equipment to and from each show (we have no more room in our trucks).

5. You must be able to make it to practice twice a week. We practice in Santa Fe Springs, Calif.

6. You must be willing to play ANYWHERE in Southern California.

7. You must be able to play at all of our shows. We usually play 2-3 times a month.

8. You must be able to accommodate the following tunings: (low to high) D G C F A D,  C G C F A D,  Db Gb B E Ab Db.

9. You must be able to solo. You don't have to be shred-happy, but you should at least be able to pull a creative solo out of your ass when needed.

10. You must be 420, alcohol, and tobacco friendly. You do not have to partake in any of these at all, but you must be completely okay with people using these around you (we keep our cigarette smoking outdoors).

11. You should have a positive, easy going attitude. NO DICKS, PUSSIES, OR ASSHOLES! You develop an ego, we kick your ass to the curb.

12. Try not to suck!

I know that most of these requirements seem obvious, but they are very important and need to be listed. We have a lot of fun with this band, but we are also very serious about making this our career. We are looking for someone who is willing to become a permanent member, who will stick around wherever this takes us. If this is not you, please don't apply.

Rick, our awesome second guitarist, had to leave the band to keep up with the rest of his life - the poor man's laundry was piling up.  We're glad he has his priorities straight, but we will miss him!  For all of you Rick lovers out there, he will still be at the occasional show to support Voidcrush.  He's a good friend and bruddah.  We'll say hi to him for you the next time he comes over for a beer.

WHICH MEANS WE ARE NOW kinda LOOKING FOR ANOTHER GUITARIST!

Male or female, 21+ only, lead and second depending on the song, must be highly motivated and able to work well with us, don't have to know how to read music, no ego, no baggage, no hardcore drugs (420/alcohol only, must at least be tolerant of both).  You must have your own equipment and know how to use it.  All evenings must be free, we practice twice a week in a warehouse in Santa Fe Springs, and we drive all over So. Cal for gigs on a regular basis.  Serious only - we're not a hobby, we're a lifestyle.  Live it, or don't fuck with us.

Hey all, Chef here, if you made it out to the Khoury's show, then kewl, if not did you miss a great time...booze, bands, and lots of rocking out...our pals Dog Faced Gods and All Else Fails were there and numerous other bands...if you are available on the 30th of this month, we will be out at San Manuel Casino with D.F.G., rockin and gamblin, and drinkin...it shall be fun...and we will try to keep our blogs recent now that so much more is going on...check out our new pics, and we should also be hosting some vids for y'all to check out...talk at you later...
