Well, Operatives,

Today had been an incredible day - we have just finished a day of
shooting 2 promos back to back with the rather extraordinary Richard
Jobson - we spent 6 hours stright shooting with him and his amazing
team in the wonderful city of Edinburugh. The footage looks amazing
already and we are really looking forward to seeing the end result
.....we wonder, why is it the most talented people are always the
easiest to work with?  we just figured out that  the best people we
have come across have also been the nicest, most encouraging and
generous too. We just got back to the hotal and are taking it all in -

A truly inspiring day and we are now very very charged about the immediate future (and the long term one too)

Shall we give away a secret? one of the songs we recorded video to
today has the working title of "splinters" - those of you who have seen
us live in the last year will know this song very well, as it has been
going down an absolute storm live,  it will be on the new album - we
just finished the final mix at London's AIR Studios ..... the "GS DUB"
we sent out recently was a dub mix of it by the rather obnoxious
"Novelist " -  - we were going to put his record out but he is in
rather alot of sserious  legal trouble at the moment and may not be in
a position to release anything for 2-3 years

flyKKiller 2 - all mixed, we have 2 or 3 "recalls" to do - tweaks to do - this should take another few days

Labels meetings next week -   we may do it oursleves again though  - we'll see what all the interested partys have to say

Pati next up - solo record released March 27th in her native Poland on
EMI, availabe digitally  worldwide soon after, and possibly on EMI UK
after that - alot of hot writing projects for other artists mounting
up  - her new single - "Stroies From Dogland" will be out in March

Stephen next up - composing the early early stages of a new movie
project ......key words....shakespeare, grand theft auto, ??!!!!???!! -
we dont know if he is alowed to say anything else at this stage

Cherrybomb - which Stephen composed with DAvid Holmes has been anounced as a contender in the Berlin Film Festival

Deep Breaths

a new pati yang single will be released in poland at the end of february - its called "Stories from dogland" and it features Woodrow Wilson Jackson III - of oceans 12 & 13 fame. keep a beady eye out for it

well operatives - we have an entirely new chain of command at FKK HQ and we took our new unit out out for the first time to a show on a train platform at 2.30am in central europe....without any rehearsal at all! this experiment has been extremely successful and we feel very potent and effective at the present time - synchronise your watches........ pati has been finishing her new solo album, to be released early 2009, Stephen is scoring another movie as we speak- the rather astonishing "The Children" directed by Tom Shankland. Pati is providing some extreme vocals for the endeavour - FKK 2 is ready and poised for attack - this will begin with the "little death" EP featuring remixes and a surprise

...attention.........it appears that one of our number, ms Yang is developing her lyrics for the Brian Eno / Herbie Hancock collabortion this week, to be recorded next week.......T shirts & wearables were held up getting onto the internet but they are coming very soon, we sincerely hope within the month......the new ep has been pushed back slightly due to a restructuring of our entire team, which is now complete....operatives should be very secure in our new co workers....we are.....stephnen is making beats and hardcore electronics for the new James Bond movie - Quantum Of Solace with David Arnold somewhere in london, he also finished scoring brit horror "Salvage", and is close to completion on "New Town Killers" these are all shaping up very nicely indeed.....we are very pleased to say that "Salvage" uses "fear" in its opening titles and "New Town Killers" uses "flyKKiller" in a key scene too...plus there may be a sneaky peak of a brand new flykkiller song in "New Town", we are not sure yet though... the new album is undergoing a little surgery, we have decided to redirect the ship a little bit into harsher territory..this mission will commence next month we believe.......Pati Yang's new album
will be finished by october, and we shall master it in preparation for a january Polish release, with the rest of the world a little later in the year.

good afternoon operatives....... so far operations are proceeding extremely well, it would seem, we have just played to an absolutely rammed crowd at The Great Escape festival in Brighton, at a great venue called the pressure point - very dark, very sweaty and very very loud indeed... completely sold out by the look of things - the show was very enthusiastically received and comes after two other very satisfactory displays of experimentation at Club Fandango at the 229 and The O2 Wireless festival in Newcastle Academy 2
All this is leading up rather nicely to a new release coming in the late summer..........It will be the first single from the new flyKKiller album, Stephen from flykkiller has been up to some very interesting flyKKiller activity, collaborating with the one and only David McAlmont, and remixing Paul Hartnol from "Orbital" no less - all these collaborations will be seeing the light of day in the coming months -
all systems go, then for the KKiller
goodbye for now, friends

well its been quite a couple of weeks out in the field for flykkiller, operatives - beginning where we last spoke to you, the manchester show went very well, our experiments were received very enthusiastically, then it was on to the illustrious "hub" studio of BBC 6music where we experimented live for Tom Robinson - it was very very productive and some great results were achieved. It was also nice to hear from a certain David Arnold - composer of 007 James Bond movies - when he texted in and said he thought we were going to be massive and that we had a good few hit songs written for the new album...this was most encouraging to us, after that it was straight up to Bristol for a very intense and intimate show in the louisiana (great venue) and from there, down to nottingham to play the bodega (once again a great venue, and great gig) we were extremely satisfied with these preliminary testings...subjects of the tests all reacted very very pleasingly - our work continues......as a 3piece stipped back monster with the able abetting of our drummer Brian Fairbairn and our sound enhancing weapon, Jim Lusted

Please vote for FlyKKiller's Fear (David Holmes remix)
