Current mood:  optimistic
Category: Life
Many things have gone on in the last few years that have forced me to change and adapt in ways that I never would have considered possible. Who would have thought that this once seemingly normal and bright young prodigy would grow up to become the exeedingly flamboyant bohemian he is today? It was only 5 years ago that I abandoned my upstanding ways to pursue a more atypical, albeit free, way of life. I was once a slave to the plastic dreams revered by our sweet old"mainstream" society; ambitions of going to church, living a decent life, marrying into a respectable family, and finally owning a nice cookie-cutter home with a white picket fence were once idyllic in my line of thought, what has changed? Where have I gone wrong? Well, most of the blame goes to the fine educational system that is sponsored by your tax money. University was a time of awakening. The knowledge that I found there forced me to shed my archaic systems of thought, essentially deconstructing my identity brick by brick till there was nothing left. The fun part, however, was putting those pieces back together with whatever scraps were lying around in a predominantly alternative and leftist environment. So here I am, a victim of higher learning; I am a product of enlightenment which is at its core a conscious rejecter of the conventional stagnant facade which is upheld by a shameful and primitive society. I am, like many other deviants, the mutant by-product of a decadent culture whose time is limited. I may be one, but many others like me exist. Everyday there is some two-dimensional yuppy who discovers the teachings of Marx, Foucalt, Nietxsche, Wilde, and the countless other bright minds who have revolutionized the way that people perceive society. This new millenium belongs to us, the freaks. The queers, the deviants, the bohemians, the counterculture, the iconoclasts, the hippies, the beats, the zens, (add your id here). We cannot wait for the perfect world to be borne, we must apporpriate this world and make it the utopia we want it to be. The freaks are the majority, and there is no stopping us. So normies, take off your masks and join us in creating a new world. A world devoid of sexism, racism, elitism, capitalism, gender binaries, discrimination based on gender and sexual orientation. Let us create a world of androgyny and egalitarianism!
