This track was made using Gamelan sounds recorded at Vic Uni, Wellington. Once upon a time I was lucky enough to get to diffuse it through 16-channels worth of tasty giant Genelec monitors in the Adam Concert Room, and ever since then nothing else quite seemed to cut it...

This wee song was inspired by the second viewing I've been privy to, of scummy men using the library as a place to exercise their techniques for picking up potential mating partners (both unsurprisingly with dismal failure). The voice recording in the background is of the first encounter (an 8 minute 30 second saga which I merrily filmed with my trusty laptop in Christchurch City Library.)
