Hey Stacie Orrico Fans!

Stacie is taking a trip to Africa to help children and infants in need that are exposed to Aids and she would love your help in making a difference!  Stacie will be auctioning off great personal items such as Grammy Dresses, clothes featured on her videos and DVDs and from her very own closet, as well as sign "Beautiful Awakeing" albums  (not currently available in the US) and signed posters!  Check back on her myspace tomorrow for a special message from Stacie with all the details!

When?
- Saturday, December 9th at 2pm Whyville Standard Time (that's Pacific
 Time, if you didn't know). 5pm EST.


 Where?
- Whyville.net, at the Greek Theater


 Will Stacie really be there?
 - Yes! Stacie Orrico will be LIVE, at the Greek Theater. She will chat
 with those in attendance and play some of her music.

 Can I come up on stage and meet Stacie?
- Believe it or not, YES! Several lucky Whyville citizens will be
 invited on stage to chat with Stacie one-on-one.


 Do I need a ticket?
- No, you can just show up. The event is free. But, if you want to sit
 next to your friends, consider reserving your seats ahead of time at
 the Greek Theater Ticket Booth (COMING SOON). Reserved seats cost 20 clams a piece.

 Do I need to register for an account?
- You don't need to, but it's a good idea. If you register for an
 account ahead of time, you can take the time to personalize your
 Whyville face and set up your chat privileges, so you can look your
 best and chat with friends during the concert.


 Will there be Stacie Orrico concert gear?
- Of course. There'll be limited edition souvenirs available at the
 Tailgate Party before the concert to buy using Whyville clams. Show up

- You mean, like a tailgate party? You bet. The tailgate party will

Happy Thanksgiving!
I am blessed to have this week at home with my family in Seattle, and spent my entire morning with my mom and sister planning the menu and events for the Holiday weekend.  Let me just say that the Orrico Fam knows how to eat!  I am in charge of the soup, sweet potato pie and the pumpkin pie.  I also am supposed to help come up with some games or new traditions to add to the festivities.  I need a little help from you all if you have any ideas.  What special activities do you do with your families on Thanksgiving?  I set up a special email account to get your input.  It is staciejfans@gmail.com so if you could email me your thoughts I would really appreciate it.  I also could use some recipe ideas as well if there are some soups, pies, or desserts that you love!
On Thanksgiving, we all go around the table and talk about what we are thankful for this year.  It is always amazing to reflect on the year and remember all the great things that have happened.  There are always really special stories shared.  If you have any cool stories to tell about something that happened in your life this year that you are thankful for, I would love to hear all about it.  So send me your stories too!

I'm back!!! As you all may know, I have been promoting the record overseas since June. I spent an amazing few months traveling all over Europe, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand...the list goes on, but let me just say that if you ever get the chance to travel internationally, do it! You get to bring something valuable back from each place. A new word, a greater understanding of people, a food you hadn't heard of, a photograph of something more beautiful than your mind could have ever imagined. What a wonderful life experience! I feel so blessed.

At the end of my last trip to Asia, I also had the chance to go to Cambodia. I can't even begin to explain the pain that the people have endured. Genocide and War has left Cambodia as the second poorest country in the world, but the beautiful Kamir people are the most loving and gentle individuals I have ever met. I don't have enough time to go into detail right now, but you can be expecting Cambodian updates from me because the country has found it's way into my heart and I hope to spend a lifetime investing in the people there. I'm going to need your help, so get ready!!!

Some of you may have seen my video for "I'm Not Missing You" where I am singing in sort of a 40's night club. That video was a blast to make and my fans overseas have loved it, but we actually just reshot the video for the US. I really felt that I wanted to capture the complete joy and liberation I felt when I got out of a long and difficult relationship. I think you all are REALLY going to like it.

All the extras in the video are my friends from L.A. so it was a blast to shoot! Even my sister is in it. I'm going to post some pics and see if you can guess which one she is.
